Thanks to IPAV for the honour of addressing a packed audience of around 600 at Croke Park in Dublin for the European Valuation Conference & Trade Expo 2026. It was a pleasure to showcase how I tackle vacancy and dereliction, across Ireland. #ipav #DerelictIreland #HeritageAtRisk

Don’t Look Back in Anger!😡🚂 Much of Ireland’s extensive rail network was dismantled during the 20th century. At its peak in 1920, the network spanned 3,500 route miles, with a staggering number of stations along each line. #Ireland

The original Victorian Phibsborough Post Office was located at 336 North Circular Road. Designed by the Board of Public Works surveyor and architect J. Howard Pentland, it was built between 1892 and 1893, before it was unceremoniously demolished in 1974 to make way for the current post office.

Harry Boland, who took part in the Easter Rising of 1916 as part of the GPO Garrison, was born at 6 Dalymount Terrace (now the location of Phibsborough Shopping Centre) on April 27, 1887.

My colourised footage of the 1936 match shows huge crowds at Dalymount Park in Dublin as Ireland secured a famous 5–2 victory over Germany. It was a dramatic reversal: Ireland had played Germany only once before, losing 3–1 in Dortmund in May 1935. #Ireland #History #COYBIG #TheColourOfIreland
