This movie is based on a teleplay I directed as a live broadcast back in June 2024 called No Good Deed, and after an unsuccessful attempt to get it performed as a stage play I decided that making it into a short movie was the next logical and hopefully more fruitful step.

It runs alongside an old unused railroad track and sits between Highway 1 and the coast. I rode the path once before on an overcast day but the bright sunshine made this ride more enjoyable.

So much has been written about this revolutionary era and more will be written as it continues to be researched and studied into the future so for the sake of brevity I won't enumerate any of it here.

At my work we have a peregrine falcon nest on the top of the building. The young are about to fly out. Check who came to visit me at my floor. We’re pretty sure this is a male as they usually hang around the nest a while before leaving for the big wide world. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peregri...

Sitting On A Gold Mine: A Poem (Wrote this poem yesterday. Like all my poetry it was written all at once with very few changes, so it doesn't have the polish or refinement of my fiction and script writing. However it's as close to pure expression as I can achieve with words. I never know what…

Post about an ongoing screenplay project.

robertkirkendall.comWorking On A New ScreenplayFurther announcing a new writing project I began last April and mentioned in a previous post about upcoming projects, a screenplay about a day in the life of a restaurant. Restaurants are dramatic places fraught with tension, conflict, demanding work conditions where 'too fast' doesn't exist, clashing personalities that spill over into verbal and occasionally physical melees, and customers that must always be pleased no matter how insufferable they may act.

Instead of a prohibition on alcohol, there is a prohibition on private communication, and when technology tests their friendships they learn who to trust and who is out to deceive them. It was a pleasure to work on this film and hope it gets many views.
