Toy Story 5 was fantastic! I have so many thoughts but I’m just so happy that Toy Story can still tell fun, meaningful stories even after 30 years. As a pretty new dad, this one hit way closer to home than I would’ve expected!

This has me so excited for Supergirl! First time listening to the suite and it sounds so good! I wasn’t sure who the composer was going to be after Ramin Djawadi left the project but I’m looking forward to hearing the rest of Claudia Sarne’s score!

Look there’s so much to love about the Spider-Man Brand New Day trailer… But my favorite might have to be Hulk’s pre-Smart Hulk height!

I’ve been listening to John Williams’ Disclosure Day score a ton the past few days to get ready for a new video… And it’s SO good. Its really been growing on me since my first listen through!

Just found out that the Supergirl composer is Claudia Sarne! I wasn’t sure who would be taking over once Ramin Djawadi left. It was rumored Tom Holkenborg was taking over but I’m so excited to get a fresh take on the DCU!

I outlined my Disclosure Day video! It might not have my favorite John Williams score but I can’t deny how powerful it was supporting the story. It was intimate, ethereal, & grounded in mood setting. Plus Williams made sure the score stayed reserved even though he used a full sized orchestra!

Now that I’ve seen Disclosure Day, I’m watching Close Encounters for the first time!

I can’t stop thinking about Disclosure Day. I might need to watch all of Spielberg’s alien movies!

Just got out of Disclosure Day! I’ll definitely need a moment to collect my thoughts but wow, it really reminds me why I love sci-fi. And we’re just so lucky to have another John Williams Spielberg score. I don’t know how many more we’ll get but this one felt like a classic JW/SS collaboration!

My Grogu video is out!! The Mandalorian and Grogu score might be some of Ludwig Göransson’s best Star Wars work. So I went back and broke down how he uses Grogu’s themes to show how much he’s grown!

I’m finally getting around to Wonder Man! The score is so charming! Not what I was expecting but it really fits the sound of a working actor. Only on episode 2 so I’m paying attention to how it might develop this season!

Ohhh I absolutely loved that first episode of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms! The story feels intimate, the humor is fantastic, and our leading characters feel like such a breath of fresh air! Really excited to hear Dan Romer’s take on the sound of Westeros so far!

I’ve really been struggling with playing both hands at once and though I still get frustrated during practice sessions, I really have seen so much growth in my playing ability and muscle memory!

Can we talk about the variations of Eleven’s theme and the love theme?! And I can’t seem to find them on the soundtrack because I have a feeling (like in season 4) they’re special arrangements. So they might not have been released.

I’ve been replaying God of War (2018) since I never got around to finishing it and it only solidifies that Bear McCreary might be one of my all time favorite composers. I’m always in awe of the level of world building he pours into his work!

Just finished the IT: Welcome to Derry finale and wow! The show just got better and better as it went on! I’m so blown away by this season and how much they were able to expand on the lore. Just incredible! Not to mention the score. We’re lucky to have so much music across 4 volumes to listen to!

Finally all caught up on Stranger Things and I’m just blown away. It all felt like the last few episodes of a season and it’s literally just the first half! I’m not ready for this show to end. In a way I’m kind of glad it’s been dropped over the next month even though I need to watch more now!

Finally starting the new Stranger Things season and 2 things: 1. They used the Kids theme!!! It’s popped up every season but really evolved and grew over the years. I love it so much! 2. I can’t stop smiling. They all still got it 😍

Happy Stranger things day to everyone who celebrates! This show’s score is one that will always stick with me. The way it’s developed over the years has been incredible to hear! 🥹

Stranger Things is easily one of my favorite shows. Every time I question if it’s just hype, I’m reminded what made the show so impactful for me personally. This is by far the most in-depth thing I’ve written. I spent hours doing research and would love for you to check it out!
