Stop what you are doing and look at this lovely story. A photography student in the 80s took pictures of punks and mods on the street in Preston. He’s now tracked them down and photographed them again. The pictures and stories are really ❤️ www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

I’ve been experimenting With intentional camera movement again. I guess it’s more about capturing the essence of a place, rather than a precise representation.

There’s something almost fairytale like about this cottage hidden deep in the woods. The door, with names and initials carved in it from as far back as 125 years ago, only adds to the magic.

I often wondered why it was called Blue Quarry. Long since abandoned, but where rock falls from the quarry face, the exposed ‘new’ rock shows its true colour.

I took a photo from this same place last week, but today I returned with a tripod. Ok, it’s just an excuse, you’ve found me out. I just love being in the Coppermines Valley 😊

I had a fascinating afternoon in the old quarry at Hodge Close, mainly photographing rock and enjoying the total silence that comes with being at the bottom of a big hole 😊

A walk to Porth Wen brickworks on Anglesey. Silica was mined just back from the shoreline to make fire bricks which were all taken out by sea. The site was operating between 1950 and 1949.

A walk out to Point Lynas on Anglesey this morning where I was lucky enough to spot dolphins and porpoise. Apparently dolphins aren’t friendly towards porpoises, but there were definitely both there for a while.
