Fred is right that Horner is a distraction. But he’s only able to be a distraction because Fred hasn’t done enough to put Ferrari onto a the right path. Improvements have been made, but many more are needed. Quickly! #F1 www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formul...
#F1 fans complain about a complete borefest at the Madring. The response? Let’s have a Monaco sprint race! 🤦🏻♂️ www.motorsport.com/f1/news/f1-a...
Lewis is right. He was brought to Ferrari not just for his speed and driving skills, but for his experience. He knows what it takes to win championships. His changes have already helped. If Ferrari don’t listen now, they’ll continue to fall short. #F1 www.the-race.com/formula-1/he...
The cars are effectively deciding when and how much to deploy and harvest themselves. I’m not convinced that the behaviour of the new PUs doesn’t breach the “driving alone and unaided” rule, tbh. 🤷🏻♂️ #F1 www.motorsport.com/f1/news/why-...
Maybe Woody just isn't as fast as Kimi. Occam's razor.🤷🏻♂️ #F1 #BelgianGP www.motorsport.com/f1/news/seri...
It’s absolute joke to look at the Ferrari wing on safety grounds when they’ve had no issues. If there are concerns about Red Bull’s concept because of one of their drivers crashing twice and blaming it, then ban theirs. 🤷🏻♂️ #F1 www.the-race.com/formula-1/fe...
So, the FIA becomes a dictatorship. Ben Sulayem has systematically weakened governance structures and now we're in "president for life" territory. This is an absolute farce. #F1 www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formul...
Pundits like Villeneuve have no credibility. Their views change with the wind. I guess they succeed in keeping their names in the headlines and generating the attention that they seem so desperate for. 🙄 #F1 www.motorsport.com/f1/news/jacq...
The FIA actually admitting they were wrong is a massive surprise! I do feel a bit for Hadjar, but Gasly was unfairly penalised (as were others, which nothing will be done about…). #F1 www.formula1.com/en/latest/ar...
Imagine being stuck with this clown as FIA president ad infinitum. He's already weakened governance massively and this would probably be the final nail in the coffin. Ben Sulayem is nothing but an aspiring tin pot dictator. He has to go. #NoMoreBS #F1 www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formul...
Hope that Lewis and Ferrari can build on the solid foundations that they’ve put in place and the strong performance in Canada. A happy Lewis is a fast Lewis! #F1 www.autosport.com/f1/news/why-...
Imo, the power from the ICE should make up a higher proportion of the overall power output. But, I can see why some don’t want to be disadvantaged by changes. Fundamentally, though, no-one should be pandering to Max. If he doesn’t like #F1, let him walk. www.the-race.com/formula-1/wh...
Horner is like a turd that won't flush. While a 12th team would be great, having him involved in it would not be! Thankfully, this would be likely to take quite some time. Hopefully, we're free of his toxic presence in #F1 for several years, at least! www.the-race.com/formula-1/ho...
Increasing the amount of power from the ICE and dialling back the electrical power is the right way to go. Really pleased that these changes will happen from next year. #F1 www.the-race.com/formula-1/f1...
A race ban for Verstappen for whining about the new regs is a bit extreme… …a race ban for the ongoing, unpunished, dirty driving over several years would be very well deserved, though. #F1 www.motorsport.com/f1/news/park...
This is the right way to go, imo. A V8 with a hybrid element providing around 25-35% (my guess) of the overall power output sounds sensible, along with a big dial down of the complexity of what we have now. #F1 www.the-race.com/formula-1/f1...
Such sad news. The word “inspiration” gets thrown around a fair bit these days, but Zanardi truly was one. RIP Alex. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formul...
I completely agree with Zak Brown and the author of this piece. One entity should not be allowed to own multiple teams. That means no to a Merc B team and Red Bull being forced to sell a team. #F1 www.racefans.net/2026/04/26/r...
Brilliant to have Turkey back on the #F1 calendar. Who doesn’t love turn 8?! www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formul...
Hopefully, these upgrades do the trick for Ferrari. Really hoping to see them race the Macarena wing! #F1 www.motorsport.com/f1/news/ferr...
Some expected changes, some that are new. They sound generally sensible, but these PUs are so complex that we'll have to see how they play out in practice... #F1 www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formul...
Yet another reason why no single entity should be allowed to own two teams. It's absolutely ridiculous that this is still allowed. #F1 www.the-race.com/formula-1/re...
Total nonsense from Wittich. Masi broke the rules at AD21 and directly reversed the legitimate outcome. It was not within his authority to do so. The FIA were right to admit it. Their mistake was not correcting the result. #F1 www.motorsport.com/f1/news/abu-...
Glad that the FIA has banned this "trick". There are clear safety concerns with teams avoiding the MGU-K ramp down in quali. #F1 www.the-race.com/formula-1/me...
Lewis is a true sportsman. After being cheated out of his 8th WDC by the FIA and the rule breaking race director at AD21 he behaved in an exemplary manner. Imagine if roles had been reversed... Meltdown city. #F1 www.motorsport.com/f1/news/lewi...
Another critical member of the Red Bull team heads for the exit door. I wonder how long it’ll be before Max does likewise… #F1 www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formul...
It’s a shame that the real fixes aren’t possible until next year. For me, the key is simplifying some of the OTT complexity and increasing the proportion of power from the ICE. Do that, and I think we could have a really good formula. #F1 www.the-race.com/formula-1/f1...
It’ll be very interesting to see if there is any change in the competitive order in Miami. I guess this could potentially be like the start of ‘22. Weird that software updates and optimisation might have a big impact, though! #F1 www.motorsport.com/f1/news/why-...
Very interesting. Particularly for those who doubted what Lewis said post-race. Basically, Lewis was left powerless (pun intended!) to race effectively. He did well to hold on for as long as he did. #F1 (Be sure to read both posts in the thread)
Hamilton was right: he had NO POWER to defend from LEC and RUS! 🪫 LEC reached 317 km/h without slipstream or overtake mode, HAM just 307 (Lap 42) And that's nothing: LEC reached 330 when in HAM's slipstream, but the latter didn't exceed 306 when the roles inverted! (Lap 43, and RUS overtook him)
