* original Wide Screen just looks like Gold series but bigger * late Wide Screen has more screen layers and a change to the styling * “New” Wide Screen has two-tone cases where the metal front plate matches the rear case plastic color, the plate features character art, and the title text has styling

“Game Boy Color Mode” is one of several color palette options in the Switch’s Virtual Boy app now, and it soothes me.

People keep saying boycott CBS but I haven’t watched them since Letterman retired.

If you pop off the eyepiece of the new Switch Virtual Boy accessory, inside is the exact same plastic lens thingy from the 2018 Labo VR set. In my opinion, the cardboard version is way more ergonomic.

Life is good.

Star Trek fact💫 The idea that redshirts always die is mostly a myth. In the original series, more goldshirts actually died than redshirts. Your brain just remembers the red ones. Pop culture rewrote the statistics.

Hoping @tgping.bsky.social does Missing Link Arcee someday.

Tried to play Starfy using Google translate. This happened in less than a minute.

NES: Christmas Tree (1989) GB: Video Game X-Change (1995) N64: Christmas Tree (1996) SNES: Walmart (1998) GC: Software Etc. (2001)(my 1st launch day) Dreamcast: Toys R Us (2001) Wii: Target (2006)(launch) I guess all my other consoles were less exciting at first.

Haven’t seen a peep about the Katamari game that came out today, but I played it until my hands hurt and I hit the top 1% on the leaderboard.
