If my "coworkers" ask for me submit an outlandish request at the last minute, guess what I'm sharing their phone #. You get to explain why you need an outlet added inside a walk-in freezer's tile wall in less than two business days, I'm not relaying that. I have enough Sisyphean tasks around here.

One thing I learned about a job where you're not completely in charge (you rarely are!) is that, if you can tell someone is never going anywhere (leaviny), learn to work around them. Anticipate the damage they'll do, how much extra work their meddling creates.

...I'm not supposed to be involved. Uh? The restaurant has their OWN repair people, even tho the cooler is a large walk-in, built into bldg. The repair people couldn't find the compressor for the unit bc the bldg is a maze. So front desk person basically took a message.

I applied to C2E2. I feel like it's the usual uphill battle because, well, you see my art "style." I know it's the biz, that there's a lot of artist alleys at big shows where artists don't have comics. But several questions are about how many books you've made, who you've worked with, etc.

I have a blast at shows, generally. I have reprinted most of my comics at one point or another. I've met a lot of you through various shows. So I know I can get the comics in attendees' hands. Otherwise, it's wait list for me, likely. ...
