Update - it was brilliant! #NoOneWillSaveYou is a new fave of the very precise alien abduction genre - and it’s utterly terrifying to boot.

Really don’t think my heart will survive this one - twenty minutes in and my nerves are scrambled egg!

Just one of the loveliest reviews ever, and this one resonates fiercely - thank you so much Jude! Researching the topic of PTSD was a very important part of this book’s journey. The cost of service, for so many brave people, is invisible but debilitating. #TheTroubledDeep🤿

Just arriving in Manchester for a day long stag do for a dear mate - I’m too old for this, right? Right?!

LOVING the book chat over here - in that spirit, finished @annamazz.bsky.social’s new cracker #NotesOnADrowning at 1am. A thoroughly gripping blitz through the seediest corridors of power, it’s got pace and style to burn - and is bursting with great lines. High tension, high stakes - a real winner!

Wet dogs!!

Right everyone, forget that baloney-circus ‘boxing’ last night. Chris Billam-Smith is a complete gent, a total warrior, and an incredibly exciting fighter to watch - and he’s seeking to become unified world champion tonight. This is not a YouTube gimmick, THIS is real boxing. Come on, The Gentleman!

Right, that’s the last time one of the kids gets to borrow my fountain pen. 😂
