@aftn.bsky.social what do you make of all BC Lions wanting to buy BC Place. Aren't the Caps in discussions to take over running the stadium? Is Lions owner doing this to screw the Caps?

@pittsburgh-steeler.bsky.social it's an honor to have the team I grew up loving, following me. Let this be the year we get the seventh. GO STEELERS!

On latest podcast you felt confident about the Caps staying. Do you still think Hastings is the preferred site for new stadium?

@aftn.bsky.social listening to your talk with Asa. You mentioned someone talking about Geotechnical issues at Hastings. I worked for architect that designed casino there. There was a proposal to build parking under the track and Geotechnical issues never came up. Only way to know is to test drill.

@rjhenderson7.bsky.social why do I keep hearing a popping sound on the broadcasts? Is it something to do with the microphones? It is getting a little annoying. Not to the point I'll stop watching, just a little irritating.

@aftn.bsky.social just saw that the Caps match against Seattle has been moved to Spokane. Apparently there's an RV show at Lumen that weekend. Is Garber going to hold a press conference proclaiming that this is unacceptable and the future of the Sounders at Luman field is not attainable?

@aftn.bsky.social Just listened to your latest podcast. Very interesting stadium news. I think there is a lot more behind the scenes happening then Caps are saying. Glasscity came out yesterday with group willing to invest 700 million into team. No Lions please, they can stay at BC place.
