Who am I? Professionally an SEO who's done a bit of everything for 24 years. Mostly lean toward the technical SEO side these days. Personally, love to talk about food, wine, the outdoors, cars, sci fi/fantasy, music. Open to anything not related to politics or religion.

Trump talking about another man... not that there's anything wrong with that. “I examined his ass, and then I looked at his shoulders. I looked at his feet. I looked at his hand. I looked at his jawline”. “I then patted him on the shoulder, and it was like a piece of steel. I’m still recovering.”

For the next 10,000 years it will be infinitely easier to live on Earth, no matter how we abuse it, than to colonize Mars. Elon Musk is selling gullible idiots sci-fi snake oil. It’s just BS marketing.

"Overall permanent resident admissions are projected to stabilize at 380,000 from 2026 to 2028, with a preference on offering status to migrants who are already in Canada with “needed skills and experience.”" He's bad at math...

Not a huge fan of being forced to update to Windows 11, but I'll say I like the changes to Notepad. I'm old school and love me some Notepad and the ability to have multiple tabs, and to have it autosave, is appreciated.

Why does Trump think his changing the name of a lake for Americans will bother us? Because it would bother him? The rest of the world still uses “Gulf of Mexico”. He could call me Fred, but that doesn’t change that my name is Rob 😂🇨🇦

I do not understand Gen Z. This is an article, on CNN Business no less, written by a 27 yo, with a job, who doesn't live at home, bemoaning the devastating emotional cost of being removed from their parents' family phone plan. What? www.cnn.com/2026/08/01/b...

cnn.comI was kicked off my family phone plan. You could be next | CNN BusinessPhone bills are the most common expense people 18 to 29 had covered by someone outside their household, according to a Federal Reserve survey.

I suspect the zen diagram of people complaining about authentic casting in The Odyssey vs the ones who also believe Jesus was a tall, blonde haired, blue eyed, white guy, rather than a 5’6”, dark haired, brown eyed, brown guy is a single circle.

I think this was translated from French but I believe this is the official account of the Canadian Prime Minister. If there was ever a happy accident, that first line 😂

Any good podcast recommendations similar to WTF? Armchair Expert, Smartless, and Blocks w/ Neal Brennan have all turned me off lately with tone deafness, arrogance, sexism, or boredom with repetitive jokes. Conan O'Brien Needs a Friend is good. Working It Out is OK. The Weekly Show is bleak.

If you drive a 2025/2026 Tesla or still use X, there really isn't an excuse. You really are just an asshole that looks the other way.

Are you taking notes? This is what it's going to take.

Protestors in Nepal overthrew the government in less than 48 hours due to corruption. They refused a curfew, spread protests across all cities, fought police in roaming street battles, burnt down politicians' houses, stole military weapons, stormed the parliament & burnt it, forced the PM to resign.

Many media types and Dems continue to operate as if Trump is a politically invincible figure, a "Teflon Don." But in truth he's becoming an increasingly weak, failing, diminished, unpopular, naked-emperor figure, and it's time to treat him as such. 1/ (new piece) newrepublic.com/article/2000...

newrepublic.comTrump Is a Weak and Failing President, and It’s Time to Say SoIt’s possible for Trump to be an inept buffoon—but still extremely dangerous. And it shouldn’t be so hard to make that case.

Just another reminder that Elon Musk is a white supremacist.

This is a real tweet and Musk really RT'd it. I don't care if he's saying the right things about Epstein - he's a terrible person.

Today in "he's trying to distract from the Epstein file". Trump makes up a story that Coke has agreed with him to change to using cane sugar in its US product, which Coke denies. So, red state farmers, how does it feel for Trump to try to get Coke to use imported sugar cane rather than your corn?
