My observation is that most people in orgs resist thinking or talking about using #ai to automate substantial tasks, I suspect fearing it will do to them what AI is doing to IT.

Apollo’s chief economist finds that there is still no measurable impact of AI adoption on corporate America outside of big tech. Revenue per employee and profit margins are rising for the Magnificent Seven but flat for the other 493 S&P 500 companies.

Another episode of Code it with #ai

#opus 5.5 turns out to be so security limited that it can't test the software it creates, and now there's no fallback to an older version. #claude is in trouble if it can't be used for app dev work!

I think back to a year ago, trying to work on #cslanet with #ai tools like #copilot and failing. Today's tools including #claude are easily able to do what couldn't be done then.

I've spent the last 3 days with people who say button as bu-un, and bottom as bo-um, and interesting as in-eresting. I think it called a dropped-t? Super annoying to those of use who still value the letter T 🫣

I've been doing some #github #copilot (GHC) usage testing with the new pricing model - using it exactly as I use #ClaudeCode. GHC uses AIC (AI credits) as a metric. I seem to be using 800-1k per hour while multi-tasking on other things. So let's say I use 1k/hr - seems spendy!
