I made a Tumblr blog only about two hours ago, just to repost my articles there. Already got a random angry reply because I wrote an article on aplatonicism. I'm not even aplatonic myself. It's bizarre how much hate people get for simply just... not wanting friends.

If your excuse for using an identity-based pejorative rests on the principle that it's only about those Badβ„’ minorities, you're no different from bigots who claim racial slurs are only against the Badβ„’ people of that race, and being a leftist or a minority yourself doesn't relieve that.

A woman kills a man after an argument. Seeing a witness, she follows him home and kills him too. As the witness's baby saw her then, with tears in her eyes, she kills it as well. When detectives arrive one says "How horrible. The baby was blind, too. Thank goodness their hamster saw it all."

semi-related but if you look up "AsPD" or "NPD" on here, you find a lot of armchair diagnoses of cops or politicians or conservatives as having these things, and I think much of it comes from ignorance of how ingrained bigotry is in US society

it's much easier to say that someone like Trump or Patel or Kirk has an unchangeable Evil Disorder that causes them to act like they do than it is to acknowledge that, no, these people *choose* to be violent and hateful because they are genuinely that bigoted

(copy and pasted from DA) I used the lavender and mint from the StPD flag I'd seen used the most, although I made them a little brighter. Apparently stairs are, to some people, a symbol of StPD, so I used a stair design in the pattern.

Man I was genuinely so excited to see The End of Oak Street in theaters bc I love thrillers and dinosaurs. It's crazy how quick a terrible marketing decision can sour that. Do companies just close their eyes and cover their ears when their customers repeatedly say "we don't fucking want AI"??
