Individual service people have a responsibility not to obey illegal orders. To do so is to commit a war crime. "I was only following orders" doesn't cut it. Trump may be ill, evil or both but this stuff can only happen if his political and military subordinates allow it and actively participate.

This will only get worse in 2025. Very worried that money from Musk (and others) will be funding right-wing pro-Russian politicians here in the UK too, feeding on disappointment in our new government and a pathetic official opposition to fire up misguided populism.

It's hard to estimate the extent to which Musk is a threat to democracy and peace. I'm sure it's worse than my poor brain can imagine.

I’ve finally come off X and hope for a more pleasant experience here without the toxic rubbish and un-wanted ads etc. I’ll never have loads of followers but maybe I’ll find a more welcoming environment more like the old Twitter used to be!
