Ran into these adorable critters today. I actually had to honk my horn to get them to move. I’d seen them around before but never on the road. Apparently a house nearby feeds them. 😬. Hopefully they develop a respect of the road before they get hit. Still super cool to see.

If anyone had asked me what I want to see on my social media feed, I would never have thought ‘pics of birds’. However, I am absolutely loving the demanding baby birds in nests with their mamas and incredible images of more species than I knew existed. New interest unlocked! Thanks Bluesky!

In all of my decades I have never been more aware of my privilege. I also have never been more scared that evil could triumph over empathy and kindness. The posts and pics of today’s protests are inspiring. Thank you to all who shared. I’m grateful to have found this platform of decency.
