So I've been playing #inzoi today, before anyone asks, yes I know about the ai stuff, no I don't support the use of creators' art without compensation, but I will say this: inzoi has the potential to be a better life sim than Sims. In its current state, this is my first impressions.

Finally some negatives as of right now: the world is empty with minimal interactivity outside of talking to sims outside, with the way that townies are generated and how the game handles it, same sex relationships are near impossible unless you make Sims for your character...

And a final thing, I hate the current lineup of clothes, they seem to be too focused on flashy runway clothes instead of clothes everyday people will wear. You also cannot place an image on a piece of clothing, it must be a texture for the entire material.

Import system. Speaking of which, what about that AI integration? After doing some research, the model is ran locally on the host PC using content krafton already owns from their previous games as well as content krafton already owns the license to and copyright free materials.

While it's the shiny blurb on the steam page, you can still import images manually as well as use blender and a plugin to import models into both BB and CAS. The AI feels like a stop gap until May when the modding tools will be released and here's hoping that you'll be able to toggle it off

Inzoi looks great and runs well, being a spiritual successor to Sims 3 and knowing how terrible that game still runs to this day, I was quite surprised. The CAS system overall lacks variety and I hope in a future update they add fabric types that can be dyed without having to rely on the texture...

Day 2 of rivals, games still fun, monetization is probably the best in any f2p game released since probably Warframe. The ability to unlock rewards from purchased battle passes post season is great, each battle pass comes with a free skin, and you can just unlock the big fancy cosmetics for free.

Besides monetization, the gameplay is solid, I've been playing squirrel girl throughout most of my play time and she's really fun to play, just being able to launch projectiles and do big damage is fun. Surprisingly the servers and queue times are leagues ahead of even Epic and Fortnite.

Anyway, more thoughts when I get around to it, hopefully it doesn't turn into overwatch 2, but it seems the devs learned from Blizzard and made a better game than, dare I say it, overwatch 1.0.

Since I've been playing a lot more Fortnite again recently, fun fact, if you interact with the projector at the drive in near fatal, you can just straight up disable obs capture of anyone streaming nearby because of the drm content that plays. Nice work epic

I know it's really early but I feel like monster Hunter wilds may be the best game in the series, the new mechanics are fun, the quick drop into hunting is great, is feels like the perfect blend of world and rise. I hope they iron out some of the kinks, especially on Linux and steam deck.

Booted up metaphor today, it's really good, I believe it's one of atlus's best works. The amount of qol from it compared to persona games is night and day and makes the time mechanic bearable. So far I've completed the first major dungeon, it's near goty for me.
