Bordeaux, France, has now recorded more days above 40°C in 2026 alone than during the entire 105-year period from 1920 (when observations began) to 2025. This is deeply shocking.

Saw The Odyssey movie and disapointed. The director+crew probably never read the book and instead read a chatGPT summary as it’s so many miles appart from the original classical narrative… with US-style ethnicity in army, Odysseus with Irak-vet-style guilt from war and a different ending!

Not sure if it’s totally true… but having grown up in Belgium I totally support that picture! Go Belgium!

Tomorrow the 3rd season of Dips, in which I have a little part on Swedish TV, will come out. I would like to thank allvarliga produktioner för allowing me to participate to the shooting… this ranks top among the funniest thing I did in my life. www.svtplay.se/video/KVk3L5...

This is such great news! The trick is indeed to set up over capacity in renewables combined with large energy storage.

Chris Meder@evcurvefuturist.com

Spain is crushing it ⚡🇪🇸 Solar is delivering the equivalent of 27 nuclear plants during the day. Pumped hydro stores ~3 nuclear plants worth. Batteries already stepping in. This isn’t a generation problem anymore. It’s storage scale. Energy scarcity → energy timing. #BESS #Solar

Well done Morocco! That’s the way. Time to realize that the sahara is a fantastic richesse… If we had solar panels on a a surface the size of Belgium in the Sahara desert we could cover the entore planets electricity needs. So
