Freddy, you’re caught in an Elizabethan drama. Vince has just understood that if he’s your trainer for the next year, he’s also guaranteed to be in Queen E’s life for the next year. Each of them has a motive to hold you back. You need a new plan , Freddy. #TheArchers

Unwelcome idea: Hannah will be hired to deal with the parking of vehicles Brian is renting to. It hasn’t been discussed, unless it was and I missed it, what sort of sanitary services will be on site etc. Someone will be needed to monitor that. Hannah? #TheArchers

Irl any of us would look at the amount and realize what happened and get the correction made. No need at all for hysterical overreaction. Just Alan’s luck to have Carol as a parishioner. I suppose crazy Anna will forbid him delivering the eulogy. #TheArchers

When willAmber’s parents be notified? Odd that they aren’t around, isn’t it? And we all heard River as a potential name. Yes! Love it. What do you think, Our River? #TheArchers

I agree that in principle Carol should have been asked about any changes to her late son’s watch. But she wasn’t. It’s a watch. Leonard is a lovely person who meant well. I think being gracious is the way to go; be annoyed in private if you must but for now be glad you have a friend. #TheArchers

Oh Carol, magical thinking about a stopped watch can easily be transferred to a working one. Imagine him wearing it, alive and enjoying life in France. And correct your ott reaction with dear Leonard, a man who lives to do nice things for others. #TheArchers

Was Esme’s wail of betrayal more the sort of sound a lover or would-be lover might give than one from an employer? Does she have a crush on George? Is any of this possible? #TheArchers

I’m rattled by Monty’s killing rampage but even more so by the reaction of the Snells. They seem little concerned about a repeat and to think that paying for the dead animals will suffice. But your dog killed and will again if he has a chance. What are you doing about that? #TheArchers

Oooh Anne-Marie just went from being a cardboard nasty mum to being a nuanced baddy, the very person Amber knows her to be and now so much more interesting to watch in action. Dear Susan, watch out, she’s so good at playing you. #TheArchers

I’m still dealing with Ian’s boundary crossing. That’s a difficult thing for a relationship to weather. His ego is definitely showing, as in Adam I know better than you do what’s best in this situation. Unpleasant stuff. #TheArchers

Wow. Delete the Grundy phone number from my phone. Not the people to turn to immedately after spilling your guts to them about this non understandable stuff going on in your head that takes over when you are angry. Kick you to the curb, they will. Forget support. They don't know the word. #TheArchers

Any way you can think of and then offer to them something that supports from the bottom sill? Maybe just pose them on the bottom sill? As everyone is saying, there’s a definite hanging, as in killing, aspect. Not at all Christmas. Sorry you have to see that! #TheArchers

I'm puzzled. This seems a cartoonish way to talk about racism. Would wish that real discussions happen, and that they be on-going. One racist having a heart attack, even if he then "sees the light," seems silly, something racism isn't, unfortunately. Anyone else confused? #TheArchers

And there is no Findlay. Turnsout heonly appears every100 yrs or when a lonely woman and her bored dad need some charm in theirlife. And the sheep? Only appearwhen someone named Leonie need a reason to live. #TheArchers

I found this episode charming. I hope Jakob will be the birthing partner and the child will be named Jake as a nod to his help. agree that without their significant others, Natasha and Justin much more affable. Do we see a business for these two in the future? #TheArchers

Is the assumption that the executor will decline to pay for any of this holiday? It was made clear, at least to all of us, that it was meant to be for each and all of Peggy’s family, wasn’t it? Do pple assume Ruairi checked it out? #TheArchers

How did you read Amber's hesitation? I think she was relieved when George suggested it was her parents' attitude about him/them. She seized it as the reason for her lack of enthusiasm while I suspect it was lack of enthusiasm for the whole thing--ring, marriage to George. #TheArchers

My sympathy for NuAmber grows. She knows now all too well how much she means to him but she also knows he’s not her idea of a future mate. To her credit, she doesn’t want to crush him, hoping he’ll find work, so she can dump him when he’s doing okay, no? #TheArchers

Maybe Esme was known as someone else? Maybe she has transitioned? But in order for me to care about her backstory, I need to care about the story I'm hearing now. I'm trying but not succeeding. Esme, Love, get interesting or get gone. #TheArchers

Oh dear, lovely Susan. Your latest episode of "See how much Grandma loves you" is very hard to listen to. I don't think George can realize what you may be giving up for him; he really is a kid emotionally, so your goal, once you are jobless, will be impossible to realize. #TheArchers

I blame us for elements lacking in the eulogy. We should have insisted on some key ideas: the contribution of Mulligantawny Soup to the menus of Indian foods enjoyed in many nations. And the yearly recitation of the Iliad in Homeric Greek at the senior residence in Borchester. Others? #TheArchers

I’m tired of waiting for George to understand that saying “sorry” isn’t enough. Can someone tell him he needs to say a lot more and to acknowledge in a fuller way that he acted wrongly? Could Jim talk to him? #TheArchers

has Esme's mother been talked about? Were she and no-name Mulligan were divorced when Esme was young and her mother took her to live elsewhere? So Esme's only been to the farm recently? Has she said she recalls being on the farm? Trying to make sense of her knowing nothing about farming. #TheArchers

Jolene can’t do this on her own. What if she explained to Ed how George isn’t getting that saying sorry and hoping everyone will want to be anywhere near him can’t happen in fast order. People need time to see him as changed. Time. He has a place to live. Do volunteer work now. #TheArchers

Would be great if George paid back his gran and apologized, without excuses, for putting her in that situation. She will laugh it off and excuse him but just taking a bit of responsibility would be terrific on his part. #TheArchers

How will this play out? How will Amber find out the whole story about what George did? Will she lean on Brad until he tells her? As we have said, she's unaware of many of the events that night and those of the following days. Will she confront him? Be angry? Be met with anger from him? Can't wait.
