Over 1,000 unique players played Tailraise this week, which is wild to me 👀 Thank you everyone who has checked out my silly little game and tried it, and especially thank you to those who have supported me financially to help me develop it! If you haven't played it yet: tailraise.com

🎶and your head keeps shakin’ cause your arms are shakin' and your feet are shakin' cause the earth is shakin'🎶

Happy spooky month from your resident spooky fox! I'm gonna throw it back to the time when @webcanids.bsky.social and I teamed up. He's so god damn talented and this video always makes me smile 🦊🎃🪩

Why this? Because when I was 16 my life was irrecoverably changed. I went from healthy to disabled overnight. I've spent years of my life ripping myself to pieces for not doing more here. But in the end I just couldn't, and it wasn't my fault. It's not your fault either. We do our best.

Comparing yourself and your situation to others is utterly invalid due to the fact that nobody starts at the same level, nobody faces the exact same trials and tribulations. You do the best YOU can and take pride in YOUR victories, no matter how small you think they are.

IT'S NATIONAL FOX DAY! IT'S NATIONAL FOX DAY! IT'S NATIONAL FOX DAY! IT'S NATIONAL FOX DAY!

And here on national fox day, a win for the most critically endangered foxxos in the world: the Sierra Nevada Red Fox US fish and wildlife must now designate critical habitat for them. Give them the protected environment they need to survive and maybe eventually recover 🦊🧡

Happy National Fox Day everybeasty!! 🦊🧡 Did you know that foxes are one of the best eradicators of tick populations? They voraciously hunt the smaller mammals that tick populations prey upon. In areas where foxes have been pushed out, tick populations explode and we're seeing that in action now.

It's national fox day, I get to drive.

I've got ya egg right here!

I scream, you scream, we all scream directly into the face of god.

Also on that note, are there any furry book communities any of you are aware of? I want to connect with more readers. Also maybe just considering starting a furry book club myself? I mainly read sci-fi/fantasy so it'd probably be in that vein.

Anybody else read Blindsight in the past and have just the most unsettling feeling when people talk to AI? Seriously, one of the most horrifying concepts that never leaves my brain. I suppose it's just another torment nexus to add to the pile.

Who do you think will win? (If you didn't know, "goob" and "plompy" are meme names for fennec and bat eared foxes, respectively). Looking for WebCanids stickers? Check out the sticker shop at webcanids.redbubble.com #art #furryart #webcomics
