Rediscovered some art from when I was 9 (!!) and had just read Julie's Wolf Pack. 🤘 Please. Please enjoy. One of these wolves is not like the other, and is Very Cool

Time for us to install a brand spanking new dishwasher while partner is out of town, this will be nice! ...Except it turns out the previous homeowners quadruple-bolted the dishwasher to the floor, upside down through the basement ceiling. So I might launch myself into the sun-

Had some parking n technical difficulties lol, but here's my humble abode for the next 3 days in Bodega West 19, in the AC Dealers den! The pyrography slices have been magic'd into necklaces this time around :D

Also doing some at-con badges, just like old times! Here are a few in progress, next to an old finished one up top. $100 each, finished at con :D (you can message me here or on telegram @ Rowkey too!)

Somehow, some way, old and crusty and dusty and looking like an old bag of wood mulch, I'll see everyone at Anthrocon this year! SOON

Got distracted while putting away some beans from this year's seed swap Remember to keep your ceratopsians well-fed with the highest quality legumes!

Three year progression of my sloppy little (US) native plant bed. It's truly wild to look back on, and I'm so eager to see which plants managed to survive this winter. 1: 2023, early October, newly planted 2: 2024, October, establishing 3: 2025, early August, putting on a show #gardening

The only new (to me) pea I'm trying this year is one called the Irish Prean. Just got the seed stock in, and they are BIG. o.O Prean on the left, Retrija in the middle, and a mix of snap pea cultivars on the right

Dreamt that I had to put on a one-man stage show involving prop skeletons, but spent the whole dream drafting an email about how I didn't have time to rehearse, and that people pay for PROFESSIONALISM when they walk into this theater

I'm allowed to post misc thoughts on the internet! I won't be struck down by a mysterious force for doing so! (hopefully)

Every time I'm lucky enough to go to a con, I'm so genuinely floored by the skill and craftsmanship of the furry fandom. You're all incredible

Alrighty, open for business in the artists alley, G27 until 7pm tonight! Come see the world's tiniest table and squint at the tiniest wood slices!

600 dpi scans: great for revealing every piece of dust in your entire home! ...ahem. More pyrography on wood slices, birds this time. In a surprise turn of events, I'll be at MFF this weekend with a whole bunch of these little fellas in tow. Will have more info soon! #pyrography #art #woodburning

Haven't had much to share lately, but this veggie soup with potatoes I grew, plus a yellow beet from a friend, has a pretty delightful palette!

Currently processing a whole bunch of little pyrography scans, some of which are from...three years ago. Truly wouldn't wish creative/artistic burnout on an enemy, it's wild to try to untie this mentally.

Guh, how is ArtFight in 15 days? It aligns with my seasonal job winding down, and I won't be at Anthrocon again this year, so perhaps I can use it to rise like a phoenix from my own ashes or somethin'

I do seasonal work merchandising plants (yay!) for a big box store (boo!) and the weather being nice all last week brought all of the customers out of their shells and it's been very cute; a market farmer told me that he usually sells 400lbs of rutabaga in one go to local pasty shops!

Being a silly magpie and arranging my pea varieties for a photo as I wait for the snow to melt. These plants and their seeds make me so happy. (variety names in the alt text) #gardening #peas #seeds

(btw, I never mean to sound apolitical on here- please know that I've been up to things that are best left off of social media, let's say.✊)

Transcribing my 2024 garden notebook and: 1) I cannot spell "occurred" 2) This past year kicked me in the ass so hard, it feels like I'm only really coming out of the funk now. It's sobering and odd to read words that I'd written while in the middle of the mental thicket. Blech.

As far as plants go, this year I bought a bunch of different field peas (peas meant to mature and harvest dry) and scallop/pattypan squashes- mostly because, to be honest, they're so delightful to harvest when 'n if they make it through the season. Good colors and good shapes. c:

Still a few months to go before I can start them in this weirdo northern zone, but at least the husk cherries and celery can be started mid-march. -gazes at snow piles bigger than my car-

...that was actually meant for the Secret Twitter, lol. Real spicy. Websites sure does all look the same these days. (pls bsky- locked accounts and/or circles!)
