These are good, loving, caring people. They know scripture. When I shared my strong negative emotions about how men created in the image of god are being dehumanized, they empathized with my feelings, but apparently couldn’t have cared less about the people.

I’m tired of teachers being blamed for kids not making the grade. I was in two different middle schools this week using the same curriculum with dedicated staff trying to teach their students. The difference was the kids, not the quality of their teachers. 1/2

The school performing poorly had high levels of trauma in the student population with lots of single parents, incarcerated relatives, low income levels, and high instability. It’s very hard for a kid to cope with emotions and be ready to learn. Parents & families need more support or kids suffer2/2
