Great crowd at the open house for the renovated Cabin building in #Boise. Many memories from my time as this literary center’s board president, more than 3 decades ago now. I was so young.

Here's an example of a great pitch letter - from a high school senior! 1st paragraph, introduce cause -- teens building things in a game jam. 2nd graph, demonstrate knowledge of donor & relevancy of ask. 3rd graph, quick sign-off. I've never met Raygen, but I'm in. Jam on, Raygen, jam on.

WATCH: Seriously, if you’re following ANY bike-lane debate, you really should watch and share this excellent news story. Ford LIES that bike-lanes are bad for small business, and THE ACTUAL BUSINESS ASSOCIATION obliterates him with data. Remember and share this as Ford tears out Toronto bike-lanes.

toronto.citynews.caAnnex businesses tell Ford to back off Bloor bike lanesStores in the Annex say the Bloor bike lanes have been a big boost to business. As Michelle Mackey reports, the neighborhood's BIA wants the province to back off its new bill that could see the lanes removed.

YES here as well. #Idaho

My buddy Kacey Montgomery uses his voice and his business here in #Boise, Red Bench Pizza, to outspokenly advocate for human rights. Now that's my kind of pizza - delicious & fearless! (Tues lasagna nights are amazing, too.) Thanks for all you do, Kacey! #inspiration #businessforgood

Steve Pearce spent decades trying to sell off our federal lands, saying “we do not even need” most of them. Jim Risch voted to put him in charge anyway. Idaho’s public lands aren’t for sale, and they aren’t Risch’s to give away. Not one acre sold on my watch. Public lands in public hands.

Not exactly a spontaneous decision.

The very first shipment of 300K tons of Russian diesel—carried by the tanker Minerva Zen, which left St. Petersburg on September 22—arrived on the US East Coast less than 24 hours after the deal was formally announced.

I love street art, even when it's depicting simple wisdom in words. Oh, yeah -- am a fan of Ed Abbey as well. When I was much younger, even had a postcard pen pal relationship with him for a bit.
