I hope there's a pillow for all the microphone's @abdulelsayed.bsky.social drops.
This one's a little creepy. Dark chords.
@mikemcmahan.bsky.social What if there are smart Pakleds, but the dominate culture of idiots have taken over and suppressed education. I mean, it's a little on the nose, but I had to tell someone. Just in case.
I don't know. I like it. Maybe someone else does too.
The problem with reading The Stand by @stephenking.bsky.social is that ever after any especially snotty cold or flu is going to be Captain Trips for sure. Like I thought of it this weekend and I haven't read that in a couple decades. O.o
I think this sounds weird enough. I had hoped to complete this while The Return was in production, but everything takes longer when you have to work a day job.
Cyrille was a fan of this cover.
You know who you are. Or let's hope.
Look, I think I did a pretty decent job of this one. Qool Modine's drumming really gives it, it's edge. I can't thank him enough for what he gave this song. I was trying for Squeeze, especially with the singing Drums recorded at the The Center of the Universe by Jupiter Jones. Co-written by Joel.
Inspired, as many I'm sure were, by Dead Poets Society, Philip found a book of poems and he, John, Joel, and I went off to the woods to recite poetry and pretend we were deep. I still love this poem Phil brought to our attention. It reads a little differently on this side.
I know they're going to love it. At the open mic, I heard hints of Peg in a solo guitar piece one of the other guy place. Mostly just that there was that Ba Ba Baa. rhythm at certain spots, and you know, jazz chords. :P
My favorite New Zealand band has a new song out. Their lead singer is also my favorite solo artist from Aotearoa, Fathom.
I'm finding creative music out there.
Happy Belated Birthday, USA. "Is there anybody here Who thinks that following the orders takes away the blame?"
Pitchy, but I kept the beat better than I remembered. Playing the drums on this song is so fun because you get to kick things off the a beat everyone recognizes. And then we collectively see soldiers arriving in Vietnam.
