Another chapter in Plumbing adventures, apparently, if you have a leak at a shutoff valve & you use that 'Magic Tape' to stop the leak (as advertised). It stopped the leak for about 10s once the main shutoff valve was back on it water ballooned up & burst in my face to add to the insult.
