Before Eric Bauza was the voice of Bugs Bunny and various Looney Tunes characters, he was involved with Transformers. Given the news, I had to bring out Drift for today. This is one of the characters he voiced during the 2015 Robots in Disguise series.

As an old school Metroidvania aficionado, Castlevania: Belmont's Curse is a fantastic addition to the franchise. I'm two hours in and having a blast.

Got the Red Alert multipack today. Since it's an open question on the TFWiki, yes, Leader-1 has a handgun mode. He has a 5mm port that can flip around specifically to allow him to be held as a gun.

As we approach the midterms, remember that the Alt National Park Service is a merch sales operation claiming without evidence to be a group of federal employees, and is not a genuine source of news about elections of any kind. Please get your election info from a local, reputable source.

Rewatching Castlevania on Netflix and remembering just how good that show was. I want to give Nocturne another chance, but the voice acting is...not so great.

We finally know what a "lawyer bird" is!

I also found this old ABA Journal article that gives some more context for the association "attorney" has regarding representation of clients. It also notes that at least in 1952, there were geographic differences in usage. Palmer, Are you Lawyer or Attorney, 38 ABA J. 564, 566 (1952)

Reacher is an object lesson in not fighting people bigger than you. The most unrealistic thing about that show is that he should have won a couple of those fights more easily.

Drop a film you saw on a first date. There are no gifs of this movie so I'll just say it: Hostage with Bruce Willis. I HATED that movie. At dinner afterward my date told me how much she enjoyed it and I knew it wouldn't work out.

I would put together a massive guitar gear collection. Vintage and modern guitars, amps, and pedals. Then I would built an institute to make these instruments available to the public to experience. Some would be on display, others would be on loan to musicians to play live or in the studio.

question for the audience: if you were ultra rich (let’s say $25M), what completely frivolous thing are you buying?

Rich people hoard this stuff. There's an American collector who has a massive collection of rare gear that is only for him to experience (and includes a few stolen guitars). Instruments are meant to be played.
