I am thankful for a beautiful clear day to work on the ship. Came out of Wilmington and had to rig up our top masts. More learning for this newbie. Talking with folks walking by on the dock. I do love to talk to folks about this ship. Cell phone technology, so I can talk to my sweetheart. 💖

I am thankful we had more wind than was forecast for the morning sail. Got some learning done. For the collective tow in we needed and got this afternoon after the wind completely died. For a fun dinner at school tonight as part of a remembrance of Admiral Nelson.

I am thankful we could correct a records error at Judy’s mechanic. Though it would have been nice if her car really did have only 38k miles on it. 🤣 An uneventful drive to school, and a lovely late afternoon at school. My last class of the season. Classroom went well tonight.

I am thankful for a good preparation day. I think I’m ready… 🤷🏻 And a bit of a lazy morning. They will be few and far between for a while to come. Two nice walks around our community: afternoon and evening.

I am thankful for a fun afternoon on the ship. Pirate giving deck tours on a haunted ship. Wonderful dinner with my wife’s sister and BiL after their visit on the ship. Making it to Costco gas before they closed. $3.87 vs $4.39 at home.

I am thankful for the water taxis. Easy to park away from the boat show, and get dropped off almost right at the entrance. Interesting day at the boat show. Spending some time with a college friend at the show. A beautiful sunset before the squall line moved through. That was some fierce rain.

She didn’t even last 1 scaramucci.
