I've been reading The Stormlight Archives—just finished book 2—and there's a funny quirk to the fauna of the planet. Most are some form of crab. Otherwise, all birds are chickens, and seemingly all hooved animals are horses. And one of the MC does NOT trust horses, because they are not crab.

I saw this gibbon in a YouTube short and felt compelled to do a trace painting. Dunno if that's the term for this, but I enjoy doing it as a way to work on value/luminosity, painterly blending, and color palettes. This time I went monochromatic because the subject itself almost is.

“I think … I think given the choice between loving Mare—betrayal included—and never knowing her, I’d choose love. I risked, and I lost, but the risk was still worth it. It’s the same with my friends. Suspicion is healthy in our profession—but only to an extent.

If your grandfather got an upset stomach from a certain major cola, as well as some caffeine-induced hyperactivity, you might call it: Peppy Pep-pep's Pepsi dyspepsia.
