Realizing now what life is going to be like in what, for nearly 250 years, was known as the United States. Presently: A kakistocracy is a system of government that is run by the worst, least qualified, or most unscrupulous people.

ICE agents broke a U.S. citizen's arm when they intentionally struck him with an unmarked vehicle as he rode his e-bike in Long Beach, California. He screamed in pain as agents tased him twice and handcuffed him on the ground. His injuries are severe. Repost this everywhere!

What an awkward position America is in. While the designated president is supporting Russia in its war invading Ukraine, and blaming Ukraine's president for this situation, the People of the United States speak in support of Ukraine. Who is treasonous? The designated president or We the People?

Trump said, "We're going to win big and shove it ... " NO PRESIDENT IN THE UNITED STATES EVER HAD THE AUDACITY TO SAY SOMETHING LIKE THAT IN PUBLIC. He is no president, and we have No Kings.

Cannot voters organize Voting Parties, groups that go together to voting stations, to enable all qualified voters to comfortably go to vote supported by their group?

This is it. We’ve only got one month left until an election that will determine whether the fascists consolidate control or the people win back power. Which future we wake up to on November 4 comes down to the organizing work we do over these next four weeks.

I can't help but think we are witnessing some agreement between Putin and Trump that Trump would bring the USA strength and respect down to a level similar to that of Russia, with Trump being able to hold some level of authoritarian control of a country to satisfy his ego. Prove me wrong.

There's a reason Trump is pushing Artificial Intelligence (Super Intelligence?). And it's got to do with his collusion with Russia and his efforts at dictatorial control.

Each of those things Trump's focus on vanity projects (Arch, Kennedy Center, Ballroom): How much of his adamancy is his belief in something good, and how much of his adamancy is his refusal to think anyone has power over him (blunt selfish stubbornness)?

Trumperboy, if it helps, understand that reporters don't necessarily dislike you. They dislike the government you have fashioned. Change what you're doing to the government and you'll find what they write about you changes.

Can someone please donate 100,000,000 towards renovations of the Kennedy Center, via Congress, with the stipulation that Trump's name be forever barred from adorning any structure in Washington except (maybe) a hotel he owns? Maybe start a Go Fund Me with this intent? Stop.That.Idiot.

Seems to me: If Trump demolishes the KENNEDY Center, that is his ticket to having an incredible blue wave at the election. And, with any protests that erupt, his "permission" is there to call out the military and work on his takeover and leadership destruction of the United States.

From ChatGPT So the realistic concern isn't really “What if AI becomes evil?” It's closer to: “What if we give increasingly capable AI systems enough autonomy and access that a relatively small mistake in their objectives becomes extremely consequential?”

With Canada pushing away from America, former Obama advisor Ben Rhodes says “the rest of the world is going to start to make arrangements around our backs.” Adding, Trump’s erratic policies are leading to “a global realignment away from the United States that will further hurt American consumers.”

Why do they all look so weird????

Jenny Cohn@jennycohn.bsky.social

I worry that they are moving so fast—and that the media has been so bizarrely silent—that the “new global order” (Pax Silica) will be in place (& impossible to unwind) before the public knows anything about it. Thread. #PaxSilica 1/

If you sense that others are not taking the uncontrolled development of AI seriously, at least start to tell your loved ones that when the end comes you won't be able to help them.

I'm surprised to receive no feedback on this serious issue. Actually, I wonder what controls whether or not any responses to a posting will happen. (Sometimes I get plenty of likes, other times I get no idea if my post has been seen.)

Scene: Trump in Dallas saying they should name the strait, "The Trump Strait. I should get something out of this." What did they pay that girl behind him to explode with a gleeful laugh as if she could never have thought of Trump saying something like that to the crowds? Some showed boredom.
