V/H/S Mixtape is one of the worst pieces of film I have watched in a long time. This was straight trash. I'm actually astonished with how bad it was.

This idea that this sexist mans jokes went over peoples heads is funny coming from conservatives, considering they don’t understand the majority of politics of the content they consume. If it was a deeper joke these people wouldn’t have understood it, it’s funny to them because it is bigoted.

The whole Shane Gillis SNL thing is just another reminder that it's so easy to be a shitty, lazy comedian if you're just willing to expose the fact that you a) hate women and b) haven't had an original joke idea since the Reagan administration

hey if you're on this app to escape the hellscape of the former bird app it seems counterintuitive to constantly repost or post in detail about awful stuff from there to over here Now we just have two doomscroll apps, just that this one is seeing the doom through a very thin pane of glass

Never take Cornells name away from attaching it to the rapists and the men who didn't do anything. Their name deserves to be driven into the dirt, fuck their reputation.

I always appreciate a band experiment with their sound, I like the new Imminence but I really think their core sound is the strongest part of the album, where the more experimental parts at best are solid. One track in particular makes the album less cohesive, but it's still overall good.

There is kind of a funny narrative about Michael Myers in the Halloween The Game socials, where apparently he never really gets beat up, when he does pretty much in every movie. He literally gets clocked multiple times in the first film by Laurie.

This sounds like something someone puts on their grindr profile. Also CW: For Transphobic slur.

After seeing RE movie, I got the itch to finish the RE games I have that I haven't finished, which is 4 REmake (I have played and beat the original), RE7 and RE8, before I eventually get to Requiem.

I don't consider someone who doom and glooms about "dead game" as someone who actually enjoys video games. Like communities in games exist, just because it is not in your immediate periphery doesn't mean a game is dead. Small communities for games exist and that's okay, I love that they do.

I’m so tired of Queer people and queer adjacent identities or activities being attacked by these fucking miserable people. Leave us alone, it’s not our fault you’re so basic and boring. It’s not our fault we found happiness and you didn’t because you’re such an uninteresting piss baby.

One of the things I will say about Resident Evil movie outside of loving it. Zach Cregger putting Austin Abrams as the main character was such a good choice. I really think he made the movie that much better on top of everything else.

I know there are only so many buttons on a controller, but I would like to get away from LT/RT as buttons for quick time events, they're always the most awkward to hit for me.

With the current discourse of Wolverine and how hand holdy it is, though this game is not perfect either, if you want an experience where a game does not hold your hand, Hell Is Us is not a bad choice, especially on sale. About 15 hours in and having a good time with it.

I think there are people who like specific albums more than the Band themselves. When a band drops a new album and your constant point of comparison is your fave album of theirs, maybe you don’t actually like the band. And that’s fine but I’ll never understand this expectation.

They know this isn't necessarily true, because if so then it shouldn't be a problem making it clear. If everyone already knows, then what is the issue?

Every Friday my best friend and I used to walk to the video store to rent games for the weekend. I'd stay over his place and His Grandma would make us food over the weekend. If we didn't like a game we rented, we'd go back and told them the game wasn't working and we'd get a different one.

Both Hackers (1995) and Roadhouse (1989) are legitimately 2 of my favorite movies of all time. I don't mean this ironically, I understand exactly what these movies are and why people seem them the way they do, but I love them both.

"i hate a popular thing" is mostly boring sooooo instead tell me the piece of media you love despite everyone else hating it me? i have many, but the two that spring to mind are Milla Jovovich film Ultraviolet which i own twice accidentally, PS3 game NeverDead, and Super Mario Bros. (film, 1993)

1. I think people are reacting to this article without actually reading it and responding. 2. Not only does it suck that they marred Crazy Taxi with the GenAI, It means the new Jet Set Radio game likely uses it as well. They'll either be upfront or lie until its found later.

Realism in gaming is boring, whether that is with graphics or more "realistic" mechanics. Graphically, these are never games that stand the test of time, mechanically these are usually things that are neat at first but become tedious later. Obviously these are my feelings, but huge meh on realism.

I heard Spider-Man was beating up fascists at a rally and thought that was rad. Never give up hope in a world that makes you think there’s none left. Someone’s fighting for you, even if they’re wearing spandex. #spiderman #spidermanart #splitmantra

I don’t like using the term “friendslop” cause I genuinely don’t think there is anything wrong with silly games like this where you are able to play with friends. I’d rather games like these pop off than most of the Triple A games that use actual ai slop now.

Glad this is happening. Even if they don’t win. I feel like people don’t understand that it isn’t all about winning, we don’t always win every battle but we need to take every avenue and keep pushing where we can.

Yeah, Fields of Mistria is great. I am not sure who I want to romance yet with and the issue isn’t lack or interest, it’s that there is a lot of good options.

A lot of the people responding to this are people that probably should log off the internet for a minute, it's really not that big of a deal, like holy hell. If you wanna watch the movies, cool, if you don't, then don't?

This has always been one of my favorite albums ever since it came out, the concept was always very captivating to me. Years since that, my perspective has changed on it, with life experiences, grief and death and yet still remaining as an all timer for me. Just an interesting thought I had is all.
