Been a while since I last was on here. So much has changed! This year has been pretty interesting and great in the long run, I think (for me, at least). I've been re-evaluating a lot of things. From content creation, to music, and trying to figure out life as a whole. Hopefully things look up soon.

Imagine setting your iPhone's flashlight to turn on by saying "Lumos" with the Siri command, and you've been playing #HogwartsLegacy and wondering why your flashlight keeps turning on and off. Couldn't be me.

I should post here more often. 😔 As a Canadian, it’s been such a strange experience to see the crazy range of thoughts expressed on social media about Canada. It gets so tiring. But that's about as much as I'll comment on anything political. Also... It's been snowing a lot 😡

I have this arborist friend. We were hanging out and he was nervous that I'd hurt his tree. I asked him, "Do you think I'd really hurt your tree bro?" He said: "Yes. I really think yew wood" Seedless to say, we are no longer on speaking terms.

Cons: The dialogue for Frey could often be annoying or even terrible, repetitive often times, and the “storm” system is tiring. The world is TOO big, making it tiring to collect all the equipment required and complete all the side missions.

Although it took me 45 hours of gameplay, it felt way longer because of the extensive traveling and parkouring required to reach certain locations. Platinuming all 3 recent Spiderman games felt faster than completing Forspoken. Still... Not bad. Didn't deserve the hate it got.

Pros: Fun combat, parkour system is not perfect but still good, the story is nice, and awesome to see a new graphics engine. It's not often you see an engine that could be comparable to that of Unreal Engine 4 / 5, and seems to be very responsive and quick. Great job!

Sometimes I just want to lay down in a lake of kittens, all swarming me and wondering why I'm laying down. I believe this kind of therapy could bring about world peace. And if people have allergies, then I guess... It was their time to go 😔

December 2024 was a weird time for me. Had quite a bit of work, but still managed to Platinum #PS5: Uno Metal Hellsinger Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart Ghostwire Tokyo Spider-Man Remastered Spider-Man: Miles Morales Just started Spider-Man 2, and I'm enjoying it so far! The gliding system is fun.

Oh nice the @playstation.com Wrap Up came out. It's a little inaccurate since the majority of it is from multiplayer but clearly I had a lot of free time this year 😩 I also platinumed Metal Hellsinger yesterday, and just started playing Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart 🥸 #PlayStation5 #Gaming #Games

It's wild to me that 759 of those hours were spent on The First Descendant, which was from July 😭 But I've only spent 749 on Fortnite, so this is inaccurate 😡 But it's all been fun, yet mostly for some research for an upcoming project 👀

Just saw Astro Bot won the Game of the Year award, and honestly... Well deserved. There are four games that I’ve absolutely loved in recent years. (2020) Astro's Playground (2021) Kena: Bridge of Spirits (2021) It Takes Two (2024) Astro Bot I did love A Plague Tale, both of them, but these 4 win.

It's so interesting to me that I never adapted into the VTuber nomenclature. When I first started on YouTube, I was using a 2D image back in 2016; I dove fully into content creation, with a newer 2D version of my character, from 2018-2022. In 2022 I switched to a full 3D version.

I hope to be able to get back into content creation on a regular basis soon. The motivation just hasn't been there. I do often miss being on YouTube, but there are so many reasons why I've sort of stepped away - and it all comes down to: It just wasn't fun anymore. We'll see what 2025 brings.

It's so interesting to me that I never adapted into the VTuber nomenclature. When I first started on YouTube, I was using a 2D image back in 2016; I dove fully into content creation, with a newer 2D version of my character, from 2018-2022. In 2022 I switched to a full 3D version.

It was a lot more work. Normally I'd record my voice, edit out mistakes, etc. That changed with the new character. This meant audio editing, and also being on camera while my face and hands were recorded in real time for my character's rigging for the videos. Then editing those video files.

The "formula" was simple: Write out a script (or wing it, like most of the time), record my voice, edit out any breaths, ums, stutters, etc. Setup my iPhone for facial tracking / recording, and my Ultraleap for tracking my hands / arms. Then edit it all together. Still I didn't adapt to the term.

Recently learned that Otep Shamaya announced she's retiring from music and art all together. Not sure how to feel about that. It's well deserved but... That's one of my biggest musical inspirations, especially for spoken word. Well, at least I got the honor to cover her song "My Confession" 😔

You are up to date.
