โ€œThe only path to a subversion of the republican system of the Country is, by flattering the prejudices of the people, and exciting their jealousies and apprehensions, to throw affairs into confusion, and bring on civil commotion,โ€ Alexander Hamilton wrote to George Washington in 1792

๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ท ๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ท ๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ท Korea, once again, showing that the people run the country, not the other way around.

The reality is that we are in for a rough four years. Already, we see hostility towards enabling ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฆ to be successful, we have an FDA nominee openly trying to end child vaccination, and we have a misguided population with regards to how tariffs are going to work. Buckle up, it's going to get worse.

There is no place in the civilized world for for-profit healthcare. What happened today is the natural conclusion of continually screwing people over and making them suffer. This won't be the last time something like this happens.

Now, this is how you face down threats to democracy.

Lee Jae-myung, Leader of South Korea's Democratic Party, live-streamed himself scaling the walls of the National Assembly to bypass military barricades so that he could vote to overturn the President's martial law.

South Korea once again shows how it deals with corrupt leadership: quick, decisive public organization, strong laws, and a less polarized body politic. The coup was over before it started. Nobody would side with Yoon over the country.

A very interesting detail. I think most know Kash Patel is a bad pick, but even THEY knew it back then too. To be fair, I think MAGA types consider Barr a traitor these days, no? What a timeline we live in.

Elon Musk - worth over $200B Linda McMahon - worth $2.6B Howard Lutnick - worth $2B Vivek Ramaswamy - worth $1B Scott Bessent - worth $1B Steven Witkoff - worth $500M Chris Wright - worth $171M And Trump is the guy representing the average American? Grifters, all.

Nothing is more infuriating than doing DevOps on closed networks. Resolving dependencies and importing artifacts is driving me crazy. Thank God for Artifactory. 500+ for a single app? Send help...

I think the wrong questions r being asked about the proposed tariffs. The real question Is how little will he accept from Mexico , Canada and China in order to be able to say the threat of tariffs worked ?

To switch it up a bit, I'm currently halfway through book six of the Red Rising series, and I can't recommend them enough. They have quickly become my favorite sci-fi novels, and I've been unable (or unwilling) to put them down. Bravo, Pierce Brown!

It's so interesting how these celebrities and influencers never seem to find fault with Putin, but blame Zelensky and Ukraine. It's also interesting how many have already been outed as accepting Russian cash for content. There is a clear aggressor and defender here, Rogan.

Pam Bondi for AG? The same Pam Bondi that still hasn't accepted the 2020 results and was a foreign agent for Qatar AND lobbyist for the Arab lobby? The same Pam Bondi that was critical of the legal impeachment process? Another sycophant and swamp monster.

Truth. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฆ is the epitome of what we used to believe was a uniquely American trait: equality, freedom, and justice are worth fighting and dying for. I know we Americans don't own this belief, but it's enshrined in our core. Pretty weird to watch the "patriots" complain about it...

I'm starting to think the Gaetz nomination was a way to get him to resign his seat and force him out. Nobody likes this POS. Either way, don't let the door hit you on the way out...

You are up to date.
