"Have I bitten off more than I can chew?" This squirrel was either struggling a fair bit with his treasure or was showing how clever he is, as he didn't run away when I came out of the house to take his photo - which is their usual response.

I then saw the kestrel eating it - all calm and unhurried...until it was so stuffed it had to walk slowly to the 'safety' of the bushes behind. It couldn't go far, as there is a 10ft wall on one side, a 6ft wooden fence behind with no access under it.
