How are we in the year 2026 and not able to light televised debates as well as they did in 1980?

Troy Jackson: "Sen. Collins says that she voted against it 9 times, but she didn't have the votes. Well, that sounds like then we probably ought to have Democrats in charge of the Senate so we have the votes to stop this war and hold Donald Trump in check. It sounds like Republicans won't do that."

There's a scene in the movie where Ben Affleck is told to head to Frogtown and then we immediately cut to him driving through Skid Row, and as an east-sider, I kind of wanna cancel it just for that.

From LIFE Magazine, this is an article about the emerging technology of television published in 1937, but if you squint hard enough at this paragraph, it kinda sounds like it's about AI.

Los Angeles is home to 40% of America's Persian and Iranian population. Probably more likely to hit Palm Beach or wherever his grandkids are living.

Trump: "With the war, it's just artificial. It's a little bit high. It's a small price to pay ... let them take out Los Angeles, let them take out San Diego. This is a very small price to pay."

Paramount bought Warners for $111 billion. This movie will lose 0.1% of that.

“Digger,” starring Tom Cruise, opened to only $12 million worldwide, according to Box Office Mojo. With a production budget well north of $100 million and a seven-figure marketing budget, it’s on track to potentially lose $150 million.

So uh…. What’s the story here? Since when does a studio win a bidding war and decline to comment on what they bought?

Robert Eggers is set to direct a new film adaptation of ‘ROMEO AND JULIET’. The film will feature the actors speaking in Olde English. (Source: www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie...)

This what happens when I go see “Coyote vs. Acme.” I wind up dissecting a Looney Tunes short like it’s the Zapruder Film.

Did a breakdown of Porky Pig driving down Sunset Boulevard in the 1940 short film “You Ought to Be in Pictures” (footage used is from 1937).

If feels weird. Surreal. I think I was really expecting a few hostile messages from any number of people who always pick fights in my comments, but instead it was only support. And a lot of it. A good reminder that when people know who they're talking to, they're more thoughtful in what they say.

Man, Quincy Tyler Bernstine in "Furious" is something else. I don't know that I've ever seen a character so viciously weaponize their own defeats before, and I love it every time it happens. What a great story tool to have in your arsenal when breaking the season.

Like... of America? Because another Secretary of War who became president was Jefferson Davis, but I think he did it somewhere else.
