I’m both frustrated by and thankful for the fact that Apple stores don’t carry devices with high specifications in the store or I’d probably empty my bank account every time I walked into one.

Yep. Language matters. She was literally kidnapped by government agents. There’s no other way to put it. She’s not the first and she won’t be the last. This is how they start - with the “other” and then they expand that definition to include all undesirables. We’re well and truly fucked.

"Whisk away" makes it sound as if she's on her way to Disneyland for a surprise vacation. No, #BrokenPost, she was abducted, kidnapped by masked agents.

90% of people diagnosed with pancreatic cancer die from the disease. That's why the medical community is excited about the results of a small trial in which nearly half of the pancreatic cancer patients who received an mRNA vaccine for the disease remained relapse-free three years later.

On the economic boycott, we all know one day isn’t going to do it. We also know that we can’t avoid buying things forever. Corporate America only cares about *this* quarter. Stock up on everything you can in March. Yes, that gives a bump to Q1. Q2 and beyond take the hit.

I keep saying Dems need to do a daily briefing on Capitol Hill and fill the void, fact check the WH. Hire Pete Buttigeig and give him a staff to do this.

I’ve blocked most politics whenever I can. After the election, I just couldn’t handle the anxiety anymore, knowing what was coming. The next four years are going to be among the worst that anyone alive has ever lived and my mental state can’t be bombarded nonstop with the constant reminder.

Spending a couple of days working from Denver while my kid does some really cool stuff at a museum here. They’re measuring various parts of a triceratops spine as a part of a research project.

I had a fantastic day at the Cybersecurity Marketing Society conference in Philadelphia today. I presented the results of ActualTech’s security buyers research to a great audience. Invigorating day! A lot of great energy.

It strikes me that we’re all going to need to be more outspoken about disinformation in the coming years. So many have ignored it if it doesn’t affect them directly. We have to be direct and public about it so tiny lies don’t evolve into civilization-changing conspiracy theories.

I got to tour two local manufacturing businesses today. Incredible operations and attention to efficiency. In both cases, as I toured with the respective CEOs, it was clear that there is sincere mutual respect between each of them as their respective teams. I don’t always see that; refreshing.

It's really disheartening when I see most (or sometimes all) of these things still taking place in modern work cultures. We all know that they are wrecking balls, but so, so many people still allow these behaviors to exist in their organizations. Fixing them is hard, but it's worth the effort.

I'm pretty out of touch, I guess. The only way that I knew that Jake Paul PPV'd his beatdown of a senior citizen was seeing a flood of complaints about Netflix on Facebook and LinkedIn.

Wow... even though I've been on BlueSky for a few months, tonight is the first time I feel like it has the potential to be the OG Twitter. There are so many familiar faces that I didn't realize how much I've missed.

You are up to date.
