Not done yet, but I won’t miss this particular view.

Well, while by far not the worst thing that has happened, that was the kicker to what has been a really shitty month. To the few that know thanks for the well wishes. Those that don’t if you want to know DM, I don’t mind sharing. Otherwise I’ll be back more often when things are less stressful.

Let’s fuckin’ go boys! #Crew96

Glad we won because holy crow do the Sporks apparently not want the spoon anymore. Where did this against LAFC and Philly come from? Guess the boys need to win some games to stay safe. #Crew96

Feeling better getting some space between us and Montreal if the KC can keep the form up. Keep Montreal and Atlanta down there. I want the Cup and no spoon to go with it.

Crazy to go up 3-0 in the first 20 minutes then lose.

That’s some serious confidence. What’s not to like. #Crew96

Interesting referring we’re getting here tonight. #Crew96

Sad… no bang…

What I’m finding interesting about these rumblings this morning, it was insinuated elsewhere that Farsi might be looking for a transfer out. Is that according to the roster profile just released Farsi got himself off his international slot. Generally useful for your team. #Crew96

#Crew96 W Mo Farsi did not dress for NYRB game here Saturday. He was seen on the practice field during first phase of training Tuesday. He is not dressed for tonight's #USOpenCup SF vs. Orlando. A team official, asked whether Farsi was injured, said it is a question for the coach post-game.

I feel like St. Louis is the more dangerous team but a part of me still wants Wray and Damet in the final. #Crew96

Nope, goal. 2-0 St. Louis. Really strange game. #Crew96

Matan gets the 3rd, this one is over. Columbus vs St. Louis October 21st. LET’S GO! #Crew96

2-0 St. Louis, that was a much prettier goal. Looking like we’re going to get a reunion championship. Should be fun. #Crew96

Wow, they’re really going that far back for a foul check? If this goal gets called off St. Louis is going to be pissed. He’s having a look, the goal is going to be chalked off. #Crew96

Matan should have finished that. How many times did you think that while he was with us? #Crew96

1-0 St. Louis. What an absolute howler from the Colorado keeper. Would have been a penalty if it hadn’t been finished. Total disaster for Colorado. #Crew96

I absolutely do not care about anything else. Manage the players so we get the best out of them on the 21st. #Crew96

Waited all game to bring this back. Worth it. #Crew96

Zaroury starting is a surprise to me, he’s hoping it’s because he has looked great in practice.

The visa paperwork for new #Crew96 LW Anass Zaroury has been completed. He will be on the bench tonight, wearing No. 21, for Crew-Orlando #USOpenCup SF at Fertilizer Field. Who knows? He might even be trotted out there.

#Crew96 you can fill out the lineup sheet however you want, but I’m going to say to me the heat maps match the eye test on what the base formation was last night. The starting 11 was a 3-4-2-1. 3:

Vs Zawadzki and Amundsen against New England:

Zawadzki was so much better in the middle vs Colorado than he was on the left vs New England. His marauding runs through the middle had to be accounted for and the rotations to cover for him were excellent. I still want Bang back but I’m happy with how Gomes and Tarun rotated back last night.

While last night went really well and I know we’re much happier. I would absolutely argue this is what Courtois has been working on. This is how we played against New England, players played their role better and Courtois put players in better roles.

On the left Amundsen playing the LCB and Lennon playing LWB was much more successful than Zawadzki playing LCB and Amundsen playing LWB. Amundsen and Lennon from last night:

In those future divisions Columbus vs St. Louis has the potential to be a hell of a familial rivalry. Those games might raise the heart rate on both sides and be a pretty fun watch for neutrals.

I don’t think of the Whitecaps as a dirty team but they’re really trying to kill Matan out there.

MAN IF THE MATCH!!! #Crew96

Not really but go Tapia you earned yourself a start or two!
