Always have a great time talking nonsense about Seagal on Matt's show and this was no differemt. Unusually though we actually praisw some stuff about this film.

New DTVC Podcast, episode 279, "Driven to Kill" with @scottmurphy.bsky.social of All '90s Action, All The Time and @bloodysam.bsky.social In this episode, we look at one of Seagal's better DTV flicks, but I most of the episode accidentally calling him "Dolph." open.spotify.com/episode/6xBR...

This was a pretty fun one to cover. Alot of that fun comes down to a tremendous scenery-chewing performance from Eddie Griffin. Also, the fight scenes are a cut above the usual Seagal DTV fare.

New DTVC Podcast, episode 266, "Urban Justice" with @scottmurphy.bsky.social All '90s Action, All The Time and @bloodysam.bsky.social In what was one of the better Seagal DTV joints, better is still a relative term, so we had a lot to discuss. open.spotify.com/episode/63Oj...

Sam Peckinpah’s Straw Dogs is one of my favourite films of all time, it is also an admittedly problematic and undeniably controversial work so it makes sense that @scottmurphy.bsky.social and myself needed two and a half hours to even begin unpacking it.

This episode is a bit longer than normal and no wonder as this time around we are tackling Peckinpah's most controversial work "Straw Dogs". Luckily we brought in Peckinpah expert @liamhdempsey.bsky.social (Spocklight) to tackle this highly divsive film. open.spotify.com/episode/5y1q...

Due to it's polarising nature this was a difficult one to tackle but hopefully I did this great but frequently troubling and, at times, deeply problematic movie justice. Luckily, I had the excellent @liamhdempsey.bsky.social alongside me to tackle this one and I think it came out pretty well.

Always great to be on the All 90s, All the Time Podcast with Scott, and I always love being able to talk about one of my favorite directors, Albert Pyun. Check out the latest episode, where I'm on to discuss "Adrenalin: Fear the Rush"!

It is that time of year again when I look at another film from the man with the best laugh in cinema, Christopher Lambert! This time my guest @dtvconnoisseur.bsky.social and I are looking the long forgotten DTV flick "Adrenalin: Fear the Rush."! open.spotify.com/episode/59oB...

Not one I had seen before but very interesting deep diving in to the troubled shoot and equally troubled post-production of this one. Also, while divisive, I really like Richard Harris's performance here and I think he steals the film.

On this month episode me and my special guest Adam Thornton (Films That Time Forgot) talk about 1965's "Major Dundee", its very troubled production history and eventual reappraisal after the release of the 2005 producer cut. open.spotify.com/episode/78qf...

This was a really fun episode to record and it was also a delight seeing this awesome movie for the first time ahead of recording this. I really deep dived into this one too as well as reading articles, the Wiki and IMD page and the usual I also listened to an audiobook about the making of the film.

This month, alongside @pearced.bsky.social we talk about Peckinpah's sophomore feature "Ride the High Country." A film so good veteran star Randolph Scott retired straight after knowing he was unlikely to top it. open.spotify.com/episode/1C6m...

This was very cool as not only did I get to fill an egregious gap in my action knowlegde with this first time watch but I also got to have a very fun pod coversation with a fellow action nerd (and fellow Scott!). I recommend you gie it a listen.

Action Addicts Podcast@actionaddicts.bsky.social

On today's episode of the show we are joined by @scottmurphy.bsky.social from All 90s Action, All The Time! We are talking about the 2018 movie The Night Comes For Us. Joe Taslim and Iko Uwais are the leads with Timo Tjahjanto in the directors chair. A true modern classic!

AOC has the unnerving habit of saying exactly what happened.

Raju: The Speaker and others have said that this driver was weaponizing her vehicle. AOC: Their editorializing of this event to justify a public murder is disgusting. It is horrifying. Watch it for yourself and make that assessment for yourself on which of these leaders are lying to you.

Between Matt's podcast and my own podcast I have now covered 23 Seagal films. Only another 23 to go then i am free!

New DTVC Podcast, episode 233, "Today You Die" with @scottmurphy.bsky.social from All '90s Action, All The Time This is the lucky number 13th DTV Seagal film for Scott and me. Plus, Sarah Buxton's inclusion has us discussing "Sunset Beach" and Channel 5 in the UK. open.spotify.com/episode/37zg...

12 down and another 24 to go on this deranged DTV Seagal journey Matt and I have committed to. This was not a fun one, but it was still very fun to talk about all the mad behind the scenes stuff.

DTV Connoisseur@dtvconnoisseur.bsky.social

New podcast, episode 227, "Submerged" with @scottmurphy.bsky.social from All '90s Action, All The Time A sub movie with little sub action, set in a factually inaccurate version of Uruguay. If that sounds like a Seagal movie, you're absolutely correct! open.spotify.com/episode/3Ebo...

Seagal might be a terrible human being, but it sure is fun talking about him.
