Looking forward to tomorrow sharing about: “The Top 5 Questions Engineering Leaders and Teams Are Asking About Agentic-First Delivery.” I’ll talk about the questions I hear all the time from companies large and small and how I answer all of them. Sign up: leantechniques.com/events/the-t...

leantechniques.comThe Top 5 Questions Engineering Leaders and Teams Are Asking About Agentic-First DeliveryJoin Scott Sauber on Wednesday, September 30 for a webinar where he'll cover the top questions engineering leaders and teams are asking as they work to strengthen agentic-first ways of working.

Had a blast sitting down with the @launchdarkly.bsky.social team in Chicago talking about what the state of agentic software delivery is and where it’s going. LaunchDarkly has some pretty sweet stuff coming down the pipe in the agentic space. Stay tuned. 👀

Micro optimization in .NET when it comes to AI token consumption - implicit usings turned on means less verbosity which means less tokens used when reading in files.

Had a blast speaking at Build, visiting GitHub HQ for the first time, and seeing old friends and making new ones. Looking forward to coming back to San Fran for GitHub Universe later this year! #MSBuild

Pumped to be going on stage @microsoft.com Build to talk about 10 things you didn't know GitHub can do... including how to use GitHub Agentic Workflows to make sure your README, AGENTS.md, and other docs are never out of date. Hope to see you at 10:10am in Theatre 1! #MSBuild

Still surreal to have been on .NET Rocks, a show I've been listening, learning, and laughing with for over a decade. Hope people found something useful out of this!

dotnetrocks.com.NET Rocks!.NET Rocks! is a weekly talk show for anyone interested in programming on the Microsoft .NET platform. The shows range from introductory information to hardcore geekiness.

T minus 10 mins until I go live talking about this at SDD London. We’ve got 90 minutes instead of 60 like I’m used to - so interested to show a lot more things including AI tools. Spoiler: it’s way more than 10 things!

This Thursday I’ll be speaking at the Twin Cities .NET User Group on “Practical AI Tooling Tips for the Too Busy Developer” I’ll share lessons I’ve learned that make me over 2x faster while still maintaining high quality. www.meetup.com/tcdnug/event...

meetup.comPractical AI Tooling Tips For The Too Busy Developer, Thu, May 7, 2026, 5:30 PM | MeetupAI is the hottest technology in the entire world, not just in the software industry. AI Tools like Copilot, Claude Code, and others allow software to be developed faster th

Jevons Paradox is the idea that as something becomes more efficient to use, we use it more not less. As gas engines became more efficient, we traveled more not less. Which used more fuel. Internet bandwidth. Never been cheaper or faster. And we use it more than ever due to streaming.

Apply that to software development. As creating custom software becomes easier and faster with AI, we’ll end up building more not less. We’ll Build more and Buy less. Getting exactly what we want without compromises. Leading to the need for more Builders.

Today I’m giving a talk on “Practical AI Tooling Tips for the Too Busy Developer” at the Iowa .NET User Group. I’ll be talking about the latest and greatest in AI tooling, how you should be using tools like Copilot and Claude, and discussing some things released this week! 🧵

On Thursday I’ll be presenting on “Practical AI Tooling Tips For The Too Busy Developer” at @iadnug.org both in person and on Zoom. I’ll be talking about Context, Instructions, Skills, Hooks, and more and showing some live demos with Copilot and Claude. Sign up in the thread below.

In 45 minutes I’ll be talking about “You’re doing Agile right, but agile wrong” in Room 1 at NDC London. Yes we are still talking about agile in 2026. Somewhere along the way we lost sight of the Manifesto, but I’ll bring it all back and tell you what I’ve seen work and doesn’t.

Half way home back to Iowa. I had a blast at @codemash.bsky.social Special shout out to 5 of the people from my workshop who filled out feedback! Really appreciate you taking the time to do so. Sidenote to other CodeMash speakers that you can find Feedback in Sessionize!

New course alert 🎉 It's taken me over 2 years of creating courses to finally go back to my roots. Want to learn how to build .NET apps on #AWS? This is the course for you. In it, you'll learn about the core services you need to care about to build on AWS. #dotnet dometrain.com/course/getti...

I took the exam cold given I teach people at conferences and on Dometrain.com about GitHub Actions. I wanted to see if I could pass without extra study. The only thing I did before was took the practice exam. While it worked out, the practice exam was nothing like the real thing.

Looking forward to speaking at @ndcconferences.com London in January on "You're doing Agile right, but agile wrong." I'll be sharing lessons learned from working with companies on how to achieve true agility, not just a checklist. Yes we're still talking about agile in 2026! 🥲

Loved chatting about this topic with @richcampbell.bsky.social! Are you in Azure? I bet you’re making at least one of these mistakes. 👇👇👇

Richard Campbell@richcampbell.bsky.social

What are common mistakes folks are making with their Azure tenants? @ScottSauber.com talks on RunAs Radio at runasradio.com/Shows/Show/999 about his top ten list of issues he checks for all customers running Azure!
