Without saying your age, what was your favourite film that came out when you were 20 years old.

Back when I was a group fitness instructor and taught facing the class I didn’t think right/left but right/instructor right so back then in every day life I would often confuse myself.

Except since moving abroad, we have voted via email, not paper mail. On closer examination, during a Meet call with my mom, it became clear this was not from the NC Board of Elections and the return address on the envelope was something like the Board for Election Integrity or some such. 2/3

So, is this just a stupid scam, or is it actual mail fraud or election fraud? I'm super curious, especially as my mom is 88 years old and votes absentee as well. If she got one of these letters she'd probably fill it out and mail it in thinking she had voted. What can we do to stop this? 3/3

One of my favorite epithets of all time! Now must read.

Why do none of these stories ever mention AI in HR that is even more biased than humans? If someone with a degree sends out 500 resumes/applications, the problem is not the applicant it's the AI in the system.

The unemployment rate for young adults with new degrees is higher than the rate for all workers, according to the New York Fed. Is AI the problem, or is it more complicated? n.pr/4gk2wNQ

I avoid these like the plague, but read this one today for some unknown reason and hoo-boi I was once again not surprised at the imbecility of Americans, esp those who voted for him.

On the off-chance that this post is even seen by Stephen, the 25-year-old Democratic Trump voter who thinks that Democrats are "reactionaries," I just want to say: Stephen? You are a fucking idiot. I'm amazed you have lived this long without drowning in the shower.

Sant Jordi is the best holiday in the entire world! It's like National Book Day and Valentine's combined. Buy a book and give your sweetheart a rose. 🌹 😍

A new Scottish tartan memorializing the (mainly) female victims of the Witchcraft Act has been officially registered, created by Claire Mitchell and Zoe Venditozzi, founders of the Witches of Scotland campaign #WomensArt via Smithsonian Magazine

#BookSky Sour Cherry Natalia Theodoridou ⭐⭐⭐ I liked this, though the first third was the most interesting. The shifting points of view were a bit distracting, though the prose was quite beautiful and haunting. I would only recommend for those who love horror based in fairy tales of yore.

My grocery order today included 2 eggplants 🍆 and 2 zucchini. I ordered 2 avocados 🥑 and 2 cucumbers. 🥒 How unexposed to vegetables do you have to be to confuse them for each other?
