Heavily estranged father passed away last night, and now my sister needs help with the paperwork. Back from vacationing in the other side of the US. Promised my wife we'd do a bookstore crawl - visited five independent Maryland bookstores in one day, two of which were used bookstores. We did a pretty good job remembering we were just on vacation - we only spent $70 to ship half our books home.

My Dachshund, Coal, is not a snuggler usually, probably connected to being neglected for the first third of his life. So imagine my surprise this morning when I reached over to hold my wife's arm while she slept and instead grabbed an entire fuzzy snoot. Imagine his surprise as well.

I am 51 and do not have diagnosed ADHD. I have an idea for a solo game. I originally planned on the Carta system by @catlinggun.bsky.social but it might be good practice for Unity. Or Godot. I could make an RPG Maker version. Maybe relearn PHP. Sometimes, I think I might actually have ADHD.
