I'm writing at the cafe and it's a bit chilly. Seriously?! I'm wearing three layers. T-shirt, long sleeve shirt and flannel shirt. Okay, so I've been here for a while now. My hot latte is long finished and I only have cold water now. I could go home, but then I wouldn't get anymore writing done.

Exactly my experience! This duology is extremely enjoyable. Even the parts that didn't have me genuinely laughing out loud and busting a gut IN PUBLIC had me grinning ear to ear. This is one of those that made me want to read faster to learn what happens &, simultaneously, slow down just to enjoy.

OMG! The cafe's barista gave me the pumpkin mug again! I'm irrationally excited whenever I'm lucky enough to get it. Yay! And with my partially eaten pumpkin streudel, Halloween sweatshirt and flannel jacket on, it's just the perfect fall morning. 😁🎃😁

I got my annual flu shot. Now I'm protected from all your coughing and sneezes! Still, you really need to wear a mask when you're sick. When I see someone clearly sick and not wearing a mask I always think "You survived a global pandemic and learned... nothing? Seriously?!?!"

I finished critiquing a book! My crit partner knows who they are and which book. Now to put my thoughts together and write up an overview for my crit partner. That will take a few days. Do others do this? I'll note my thoughts on character arcs, plot development, storylines, etc. #writingcommunity
