We got a new rat! The one on the right is Gary, and since he's the biggest rat we've got we thought he needed a friend his own size. Not sure what the new rat's name is yet...

Doesn't "up to 100% leak free" basically mean "I guess there's at least a theoretical chance it won't leak"? Can't anything claim to be "up to" 100% anything?

I'm very glad I got to experience long term chastity, but on balance, now that I've had about a month to think about it and compare, I think I really do like this basically ace version of myself better. I think I'd do medium term chastity again to prepare for a play date, but not more than that.

I say I'm a top, but it's more accurate to say that I'm just very inexperienced with anal sex. I've bottomed twice, and only one time successfully, and I've topped all of three times, twice with the same person.

Anyway, I guess it's a good thing I'm into humping diapers and can just keeping getting off that way, and sharing that experience with like minded diaper boys (and girls). Leave the grown up sex to the grown ups, right?

I'm not disinterested in, it but I guess I have a lot of anxiety around it, still. With topping: it's performance anxiety. With bottoming, it's a fear of not being able to get "clean" enough, and also of not being able to relax enough to enjoy it.

And at 49, the prospect of finding a partner who's tolerant of my lack of experience, to say nothing of the ambivalence of my interest, is daunting. Feels like more trouble than it's worth, like maybe that ship has sailed.

Hey, looks like I've got a banger on my paws-- one of my songs was listened to 27 times on Pandora in one month! I made 11 cents!

It is absolutely blowing my mind right now that the Mexican snack "duritos" and the American snack "Doritos" are NOT actually the same thing. I have lived decades in ignorance.

The live action Disney movie The Watcher in the Woods. I was terrified of mirrors for what in my memory feels like it was years.

In honor of scary media month: what is the first piece of media you remember truly frightening you as a child?

I've never really been into baby talk-- always seemed like an affectation to me-- but I've noticed lately when I get into little headspace, my Rs have kinda been unconsciously softening into Ws a little.

Before tonight, only two moments in video games have elicited in me a very strong emotional response: the apparent death of Agro in Shadow Colossus, and the destruction of Cleyra in FFIX. Only one's brought me to actual, literal tears, just now: the "true ending" to Nine Sols.

Out of chastity for the last couple of days. First time I've been unlocked for more than a day at a time in... I don't even know how long. A few months, at least. Unsure whether I want to lock up again. Unsure about a lot of things. Feeling a great need to simplify my life, get back to basics.

Book I'm reading, "Rabbit at Rest", continues the following sentence: "When they went to the Drechsels' seder, she turned out to be the youngest and had to ask the four questions." Does this make sense to people who weren't raised at least nominally Jewish? Do you know what this means?

It's funny also because I'm not really that into anything else on the album, or indeed, any of Eno's other ambient work (some of his earlier stuff I love though).

I haven't started listening to Bjork's solo discography yet (it's up next), but I think I might actually prefer her work with The Sugarcubes. I'm listening to their last album, "Stick Around For Joy" right now, and it's SO GOOD.

One reason I suck at time management is that lying in bed and snuggling with Oscar always seems like a good decision no matter what else I have to do. No regrets.

Thinking about how weird it is that I never get diaper rash anymore, not even a little bit. Like that's just another way my body's adapted to being in diapers all the time.

Okay but this is actually for real one of the reasons I changed from my original fursona (dingo) to my current one (raccoon).

here's a fun question for you: what would your fursona be if it had to an animal that *actually lives in your area*? hard mode: no domesticated animals with a consequentially global range--that would mean, for example, canid and ungulate species have to be species actually found in the wild

Just got of Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma-- best movie I've seen in a while. Among other things, found it to be a sensitive and intelligent exploration of how BDSM and CNC function to dismantle sexual inhibition (which: highly relatable).

Also, it's an example of my favorite kind of movie: those that deconstruct or parody a genre while also functioning as an excellent example of that genre. Other movies like that include Cold Comfort Farm, Mystery Men, and The Young Girls of Rochefort.

Today in words that do NOT mean what I thought they meant (joining effluvium and meretricious): "effete". I thought it was, basically, a short form of effeminate. It is not!
