As the school year begins and we head into the final weeks of this campaign, now is a great time to come together and talk public schools. Join us for a brunch fundraiser on Sunday, September 20 from 10-Noon hosted by Jason, Aurin & Ian. RSVP or join as a co-host.

These nonpartisan races - Hennepin County Attorney, County Commissioner, and School Board - are critical to ensuring Minnesota has a robust line of defense against the increasing authoritarianism of our federal government. Remember to flip your ballot over for these candidates!

This is where the overlay district for data centers could potentially be. I strongly oppose this. Our city should not give up its future land use to Big tech’s shareholders. There is a lack of political will for a data center ban, so downtown was carved out- no more should be added.

I’m highlighting this concern as we talk about it committee. Overlay districts have the potential of allowing data centers into areas of where people live & in green zones that have been impacted by environmental injustice. Read the policy & submit a comment: www.minneapolismn.gov/business-ser...

I’ve attended two of these sessions this week. People don’t want it. I won’t let them spin the voices of the residents who live there.

In response to increasing neighbor complaints about robo-voice motion sensor alarms coming from Ring-style cameras, the Minneapolis City Council is considering an update to the noise ordinance. Would prohibit alarms audible to adjacent residence. Passed committee Wednesday.

Campaigning with Andrew Myers should be disqualifying. He voted to strip health care coverage from adult undocumented immigrants. He voted against the Trans Refuge legislation.

Every day from now until November 3, do something to help Democrats win. It does not have to be grand. It can be a conversation with your neighbor, a call to a family member, or a door knocking shift. Every action matters.

We did it again! The House just passed another War Powers Resolution to stop Trump's illegal war in Iran. The American people are sick and tired of funding Trump's reckless and deadly atrocities abroad. The war must end NOW.

As Trump continues his illegal war with Iran, Minnesotans are paying the price at the pump. Higher gas prices mean higher costs for families, small businesses, and farmers. We need leaders focused on lowering costs.
