As a developer a landing is easy to build. As a founder it's hard as fuck. Am I the only one? 😅 I spent the majority of the week to think about the copy of the headline and subtext, the CTA, how to color/highlight the words, which screens to add, the FAQ, etc. #buildinpublic

I'm wondering if it's just me... I've been using AI for long time already for lots of stuff even for coding. However, I never really switched editor. I'm still on Emacs after 10+ years. I just tried Windsurf Editor after the hype around "flows", but I got disappointed.

Finally I moved to asking to handle the migration script and it suggested to install and configure `alembic` which already is. Only AFTER I said "Man, please check the code first I already have alembic" It then started analyzing the configuration and the existing migrations.

TBH this is not what I was expecting from "context awareness". I was already puzzled when I noticed that when I opened the project there was no background job or some preparation analysis step. Maybe I'm dumb and I messed up something in the setup. Back to my prev workflow 😅

Prompt: "ah yeah let's also rename the file ofc" Outcome: ❌ it's not able to find the file, the file it just modified by renaming the model and table name Prompt: "it's in there, you just modified it" Outcome: 🎉 the file has been modified 🎉 it proposed to update the refs

Nice! I'll let it do, but then... Outcome: ❌ not all references has been updated, lots of imports were broken ❌ it commented some broken imports In the end, when I asked if everything was correct he tried to run tests that do not exist.

Ok I didn't explicitly ask for that, but I thought that the "reasoning across your entire codebase" would have been able to detect that all other models have this naming pattern <table name> -> <table name>.py Nvm, I prompted to do it.

What prevents you from working like this? I’d say common sense 🤣 😭 I miss my monitors 💺 not ergonomic (luckily I started training my hamstrings flexibility) ☀️ super annoying reflection 🔌 sockets 🛜 poor connection #indiehackers #buildinpublic (literally)

Sometimes you just need to be more structured and consistent in promoting your product. #buildinpublic #indiehackers

If you share valuable content on Reddit it could be a goldmine for promoting your product. I'm going to experiment with the next level: owning a sub-reddit. 🚀 It's quite daunting tbh, but who knows, this is the first time I'm doing it. 😅 #buildinpublic #indiehackers
