A very worthwhile bird link: an appreciation of the Hudsonian godwit, a small bird with a remarkable ability to migrate up and down the Earth. “They look diminutive, fragile, and delicate. But they’re these high-performance Ferrari machines.” www.newyorker.com/magazine/202...

Bluesky is way bigger than us, but if you like finding links to interesting things, that's literally all we do at Seabird! Our platform only takes posts with links. Try it out: www.seabirdreader.com

If you are a person who likes using social media to find links to other interesting things, Bluesky is currently the only good-sized social media network that *isn’t* actively discouraging external links.

Worth noting that at Seabird we not only don't use an algorithm to decide what posts to show you, we don't even have replies for users to get mad in. www.seabirdreader.com
