My nurse just asked me how my pain was after she gave me oxy. In her defense, I don’t pay attention when they’re reading of my pills to me. She had asked how my pain was before dispensing the pills. Anyway, I said it’s same as before. Why? She told me that she gave me the 2.5mg that the doctor ok’d.

I told her that I didn’t even know that I was given oxy and if 5mg didn’t touch the pain, why would 2.5? They should save the 2.5 for people with headaches. 10mg only took the edge off. It didn’t get rid of the pain.

I just looked out the window of my hospital room, and it just sank in. The trees just started getting their leaves when I was admitted to the hospital. The leaves are starting to change here. Other than maybe 2-3 weeks, I missed the whole summer, with at least 5 weeks to go. Ugh😞
