I enjoyed a 4 course #vegan dinner at the Millennium Restaurant in Oakland, CA. I had a roasted watermelon salad, deep fried oyster mushrooms, rotini with baby spinach, and pear tart with raspberry glaze. Chef/Owner Eric Tucker always delivers an exceptional dining experience. #veganfood

I stopped by Greens Restaurant in San Francisco for a one night only miso & mushroom 3 course menu. The 1st course was a heirloom tomato salad with chanterelle miso aioli. The 2nd course was stuffed onions with rice & vegan yogurt sauce. The entree was Maitake Mushroom & Tofu Satay. #veganfood

I got my Covid-19 booster and flu shot yesterday. I went to my local Safeway pharmacy and it took less than five minutes. The pharmacy even provides a 10% off coupon to encourage local residents to stay safe over the fall winter season. 💉#vaccinations

I served #vegan Japchae tonight and I love the texture of the glass noodles made from sweet potato starch. I made this popular Korean dish with carrots, cabbage, onion, red pepper, shiitake mushrooms and marinated pan fried tofu. It was flavored with tamari, agave and sesame oil. #veganfood

I served Beyond Burgers tonight and they turned out exceptionally well. The fixings included pickles, grilled sweet onion, home grown tomato, organic leafy green lettuce, and Violife smoked mozzarella cheese. It was served with a side oven roasted Yukon Gold homemade fries. #veganfood #plantbased

To celebrate the 60th Anniversary of #StarTrek, I went to see Wil Wheaton at Seattle Center as he reminisced about his time as Wesley Crusher on #TNG. Wil loved every moment of his time on the series and made lifelong friendships with the cast.

While visiting friends in Vancouver, B. C., I stopped in The Burrow for #vegan Mexican food. I had roasted squash enchiladas with a side salad and rice with pinto beans. It was tasty and filling. #veganfood

I was looking at how the #Mariners performed tonight in Milwaukee and saw a 22-0 score. Surely that was score from a pre-season football game posted in error somehow! Then I looked at the score box and it was true. Little Leo Rivas got shelled for 9 runs in the 9th inning to boost his ERA to 72.0. 😱

At the annual Night Out event in #Seattle, we shared food and conversations with our neighbors. I served kimchi fried rice and potato salad. The rice dish was a hit. We also had the fire department come by with a brand new fire truck. It’s an impressive piece of technology.

While in Vancouver B.C. to watch World Cup matches at their Fanfest, I made a visit to Do Chay Restaurant at Kingsway and Knight for dinner. I ordered the #vegan prawn curry with eggplant and sweet potatoes over rice. It came with a side of pickled vegetables and salad. It was amazing! #veganfood

I enjoyed watching the #Mariners beat the #RedSox this weekend at T-Mobile Park in #Seattle with a fantastic start from Logan “Walter” Logan giving up only one run in 6+ innings. In the background, you can see Lumen Field which is hosting World Cup soccer games and the downtown skyline.

I’ve been enjoying homemade Kimchi Fried Rice. I include fresh ginger, garlic, sweet onions, cabbage, peas, Just Egg, and marinaded pan fried tofu. I add in a touch of sesame oil and tamari with plenty of chopped kimchi. It’s so good! #veganfood #vegan #plantbased

While attending the BTS concert in Vegas, I went to Crossroads for dinner. Founded by Chef Tal Ronnen, Crossroads serves superb #veganfood in a tastefully appointed and spacious setting. Diners can choose a la carte or prix fixe. It’s considered one of the top #vegan restaurants in the U.S.

I had a chance to join 70,000 of my friends to watch K-Pop super group BTS in Vegas at Allegiant Stadium. They came as advertised. Stellar singing, world class choreography, energetic dancing, dynamic light show, and pulsating music. Everyone left hoarse, deaf and tired. It was spectacular. #BTS

Tane Vegan Izakaya serves outstanding #plantbased Japanese cuisine. I dined at their Honolulu location recently and was impressed. We tried the Grilled Mushrooms, Poke Salad, the Pacifica Roll, and the Kailua Roll. The food was beautifully presented and the flavors were exquisite. #veganfood

I’ve been craving Indian food and decided to make Aloo Gobi. I roast the potatoes and cauliflower to bring out the flavor and use a mild curry with coriander, cumin, and turmeric as a spice mix. I use plenty of onion, garlic and fresh ginger. This is served over basmati rice. #veganfood #vegan

I had a delay at SeaTac airport and had a chance to try the #vegan pho at Bambuza in the North Terminal (N11). It was delicious with a tasty broth and a nice assortment of veggies and deep fried tofu. I believe they first started in Portland. Highly recommend. #veganfood

Vancouver B. C. serves innovative #vegan food. One of my favorite places is Do Chay serving an all plant based menu. This pho features a spectacular broth and comes with mushrooms, yuba, daikon radish, pea vines, avocado, and bean sprouts. Consistently delicious. #veganfood

I haven't watch a #Canucks game for quite some time. I did tune it tonight to see if they could beat the lowly #BlackHawks. It wasn't pretty and they were sloppy at times, they came out with a W in what seems like forever. Maybe with the trade deadline behind them, they can play more relaxed.
