For #WorldMentalHealthDay please consider making one change. The day is about health, but a lot of related discussions are about illness. Some say "remove the stigma" then self-censor to soften their language into "I'm struggling with mental health" If you mean #mentalillness, say mental illness.

To be clear: If you are mentally ill, or studying/advocating/working in #MentalHealth / #MentalIllness, avoiding the phrase is a clear sign that the stigma still exists, and it has *won*. Use the right terms. Do it *because* it feels awkward, or vulnerable, until those feelings no longer come up.

I wish people focussed on *what people are not allowed to do in bathrooms*, not who's in there. You're ALREADY not allowed to assault people, or be a voyeur, or kidnap children, etc. Laws already exist, to protect everyone from everyone. Assuming trans people are an automatic threat is pathetic.

When people claim trans folk will be attracted to other bathroom users, remember that this argument could be applied to homo/bisexual people. And, in the past, IT WAS. But for some, excluding ALL LGBTQ+ folk is the end goal. With this in mind, lesbian TERFs' urge to erode rights makes no sense.

So, what about Mark? Yep, this could tie to him. - Maybe his outie approved severing Gemma in an attempt to save her, and sees this as her dying, as her body being "burnt" (almost like a spy having to abandon their ID) - This could lead to him getting severed, the only way to "see her" again 5/

- If Sissy removed the tube, claiming Charlotte's body, she'd be accused of "killing" that version. If Mother removed it, that would be more like suicide, hence Harmony's reaction - Charlotte "Sissy" Cobel would make sense as a way to caption a photo of a severed person (Helena "Helly" Eagan) 3/

I've been enjoying Severance, & there's something I hope I'm wrong about. I started wondering if the name "Reghabi" was chosen because it sounds like ruh guh bee, or R G B (red green blue), the primary colours of light (lumon). That might be a bit much. Fingers crossed it's just a name.

It's fucking wild to me that the UK government pays over £20 BILLION in housing benefit annually, to help people pay rent. Don't worry, I'm not saying that low-income and unemployed/disabled people shouldn't be helped. I'm saying that's a lot of money to put directly in the pockets of landlords!

It's not perfect, of course. Sometimes there is no "character" as the subject of an image. Sometimes their expression is the least important thing. Still, it's an approachable framework for people whose gut reaction to writing alt text is "I don't know where to start" or "I can't fit everything in"
