And I think their pillow talk might touch quite a bit on regret and rebuilding after one’s mistakes. They seem like they have the potential to bring a lot out in each other, thematically speaking, *and* I think the sex would go crazy. Also, Yanqing glaring at Sunday like a mortal enemy is peak 😂

And I think JY would enjoy Sunday looking to him as a sort of mentor. Sunday’s smart with a mind for strategy. I think his search for answers and curiosity about the broader universe would engage Jing Yuan, as would the sharper, critical side of his personality (esp where it’s aimed at himself.)

And I think JY would have a LOT of fun teasing and toying with Sunday to fluster him, while subtly leading Sunday to some useful insights. (And bouncing him on it, but yk…) JY could def be that balance of disciplinarian + nurturing that Sunday’s weak for— JY’s a real brat turned brat tamer, imo ;)

The way Sunday inserted Jing Yuan into the TB’s dream… don’t think I forgot about that. (Why do I feel like Auntie Yao Guang is gonna set them up…?) Tbh I think Sunday would find JY compelling from both a daddy issues angle and an ‘understanding the pressures of governance and expectation’ angle…
