NEW — Videos obtained by The TRiiBE show federal agents detaining a Laugh Factory worker on Chicago’s North Side this morning. He and another person were detained around 9:20 a.m., according to rapid response teams. Story TK shortly on thetriibe.com.

Hearing reports of tear gas in Wrigleyville from multiple sources. For non-Chicagoans, Wrigleyville is an affluent, mostly-white neighborhood surrounding Wrigley Field. Chicago's brown and Black communities are still taking the brunt of migra violence, but no neighborhood is immune any longer.

Video from witness here from the moment CBP gassed neighbors who had gathered outside after the kidnapping. Agent rolls a canister at the crowd out of the window of their car as they reverse away from people with whistles and bikes.

Looks like one triple canister in the street here. There's also some water and solidified chemical indicating someone may have tried to extinguish it. Definitely can still smell it in the air here.

In Wrigleyville in Chicago right now— ICE/CBP has reportedly been targeting laborers in the area all morning. A large number of neighbors are gathered outside a house where agents snatched a man. His lunch is still here on the ground. Area is clear of feds for now, gas deployed earlier.

Federal agents took a man from the BP gas station near Clark and Eugenie, down the block from the tony Latin private school where many of the city’s elite send their children. (Video from a source.)

NEW — Video footage obtained by The TRiiBE shows federal agents pulling Laugh Factory Night Manager Nate Griffin as he holds on to a scaffold. Bystanders screamed at the agents, saying "Show your face," as they detained Griffin. thetriibe.com/2025/10/laug...

@theboycraig.bsky.social is a douchebag for stealing my header photo. Why don’t ya come to Wrigley and take one yourself.

Damn, Tony didn’t sit in bleacher Jeff or Al’s spot.

Pleasantly surprised that Ringo’s drums on Don’t Pass Me By sound like something by The Beastie Boys…! youtu.be/H-Kf8YoJ-6g?...

If you're in the midst of a shitty day - and who amongst us will not be existing within one of those for the next four years? - my prescription is to watch something that never fails to make me smile: They Might Be Giants and the Onion A.V. Club Choir covering "Tubthumping."

One last one for awhile, and it's a goodie. Here is the 1984 Chicago #Cubs highlight film. youtu.be/oG1-9vdH8O8

Good to be back in Tokyo

ICYMI: A Japanese food influencer made her recommendations on the best burgers in Tokyo in a post on her X account. Here are her six recommendations, plus another two recommendations from the folks on the UJ Discord. https://buff.ly/4gm8LPW

I miss baseball.

Today is the Mastercard holders’ exclusive pre-sale for Cubs vs. Dodgers tickets. 💳 The sale starts at 6:00 PM, so I had the website open and ready. However, as soon as it hit 6:00, there were already 145,000 people ahead of me in line. 😂 WTF! 🤣

We talked to The Lemon Twigs before their gig at Iron Works in Buffalo earlier this week. #LemonTwigs www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kz26...

Just how たんまり we talkin’ here? 🤣

Got a ticket for my birthday show at Budokan (right date, wrong year)!

Here's a little something I made to sing us off to bed this Monday evening. The Beatles You Won't See Me isolated vocals in stereo. I blather on and on about how lush the vocal harmonies are on this album & this is a prime example: 3 tracks of vocals on a 4-track tape. youtu.be/VtzjnlfzzDo

Mr. Blue Sky seems fitting. Chicago in September. Is Jeff Lynne here yet??

Hamm’s is good. That is all.

Gotta say something I guess… Jody’s tongue is long.
