I hate when I get a bad vibe about something and can't put my finger on why specifically something feels off.

Sometimes you just need a night of silliness with a great group of people and tonight was totally that. #CakeDay

This week has been...weird. Good, but weird.

Tell me 🧠. Why do you decide to start drafting a proposal for something at work at 1am? Can we not? I do need sleep...

They're creating a captive/dependent streamer economy. Make it easier to set up and keep people on the site. That way, when they decide to start billing it's harder for creators to leave and they're more likely to pay a subscription fee.

Now you can tell your local game store to stock Paragons and send them to IPR!

There is a special place in hell for people who do not check availability in Outlook before they schedule a meeting.

This should go for all customer service type roles, not just waiters...

If I ask "Hey is anyone else experiencing this issue?" I'm not asking you to fix it...I'm asking if it's just me or if there is a larger problem. I hate when people start answering questions I didn't ask.

This is just a toddler tantrum. "Fine! You won't let me have my way so I'm gonna go home." It's so ridiculous.

You know, I've hit that point where I'm just exhausted being nice. I really do need to tell people to fuck off more often...but then the guilt shows up. Why is it so hard to just do stuff for yourself?

Someone else having experience and information you don't have isn't a threat to you, it's a benefit. Be curious, ask questions.

There has been a lot of loss this week, public and private. Be kind and patient with yourself. Grief isn't linear. Some days will be better than others. There is no shame in needing time. ❤️

Finding out I live in a once a century flood area was not on my bingo card this weekend. It's flooded before, but it was never this bad. I'm ok. I can still get in and out and live up on a hill...but I'm keeping an eye on things.

It's a free streaming platform because the content we create on it is how they make money. The cut of subs/bits/ad revenue has never been enough for them...line must go up. We are the product, the data and what they can do with it has the value. It was never about support and all about profits.

Not me almost getting down to my garage and realizing I don't have my keys. It's gonna be a loooong day.

Random QOTD: What's something about yourself/that you've done that surprises people when you share? I used to race cars in High School. Not like illicit street racing, but autocross with my boyfriend and his dad with the BMW and Ferrari car club.

I would argue that this was true with oWoD and not just Masquerade specifically. I saw similar with nWoD but it wasn't nearly as strong.

I'm just so tired. Not physically tired, an exhaustion that's deep into my core...and it's all out of my control. I need a break...

With a good Rule Zero conversation, I am generally flexible if people want to play some things that aren't exactly #commander legal, within reason. Its meant to be a social format. If someone takes advantage of that, then I know for next time and can walk away.

Had a woman at Starbucks this morning comment that she was surprised they didn't close the mall while they were doing construction "because of all the dust." Then continued on saying that "the least they could do is provide masks for people that were shopping." 🤦‍♀️

I will be off Wednesday through Monday of #GenCon weekend. I plan to be onsite every day and my schedule is pretty flexible. Anyone else trying to get their calendar together want to meet for a meal or a game??
