I've been trying to find resources to migrate an existing project to vite+. But it's impossible to search for it, because of the plus symbol. ๐Ÿ˜•

Really happy to share something I whipped up today to pay tribute to Svelte Summits from 2020 to 2025 organized by @sveltesociety.dev ๐Ÿ˜ƒ svsummit26.semaphores.dev I put together some notable social media posts and the YouTube talks from each summit, so you can peek at the highlights from one place.

I expect the mobile layout to be suboptimal. My smartphone's display is not great, so I'm unable to test it properly. Use desktop for best experience. My favorite part is being able to view the Youtube talks in embedded form. The list of talks are all thanks to sveltesociety's website.

It's 20ยฐC in the UK today โ˜€๏ธ๐ŸŒ… Supposedly the warmest it will be for a while. Too bad it's a weekday and you can't go out to enjoy the warmth until after 6.

๐Ÿ“‰ Some really cool news graphics here. And most (all?) of them are made with Svelte.

Reuters has some of the best work in the biz. Lots of great visual inspiration here ๐Ÿคฉ

I've been laying the foundations for a personal application project. Using ASP.NET Core for the backend with Vertical Slice Architecture. Gotta say, I understand why they say you need to actually build stuff to get experience. Creating the scaffolding that underpins your app is quite monotonous.

I've been putting together bits of knowledge from various tutorials and repos. About Minimal API, VSA, NSubstitute, HttpClient, etc. It also made me appreciate how much better structured tutorials like Svelte's or React's are in progressively teaching you the plumbing.

Extremely grateful to @londonwebstandards.org and its organizer @letorey.co.uk for awarding me one of their limited diversity tickets for this fantastic event. Their speaker lineup for this year is available at 2026.stateofthebrowser.com/speakers/.

You get to take home really cool merch too ๐Ÿ˜Š. Still rocking two of the stickers from last year on my Thinkpad.

Advent of Code 2025 started as of today! I solved Day 1 about 90% of the way. Couldn't figure out one edge case. But still had fun doing it and reading others' solutions in the subreddit. Hope to do better tomorrow. #AdventOfCode

On the rare occasion I open Facebook these days, half my feed consists of AI-generated images and videos of animals or cats. AI is a valuable technology of course, but I can't wait for the tools to not be so free-for-all anymore so that it's not getting wasted on pointless content.

That moment when you accidentally use a dict instead of an array and end up with random iteration order. Although supposedly it shouldn't happen on newer Python versions?

It's day 6 of Space Week, and here's your coding challenge: determine the current phase of the moon. ๐ŸŒ• Check it out on the freeCodeCamp mobile app.

You are up to date.
